AquaVapor has a ten pack sampler (100ml total) for $30 plus $5 shipping. Bought one for my father in law but got it too strong and he has only tried one of the ten flavors. If you are interested in organic flavors several of the vendors in my signature / blog have sample packs. None as cheap as AquaVapor.

What does CYO mean in this context?

CYO? Choose Your Own. Some places have samplers - but with pre selected flavors.

See a post I did here about how to work the best first time order sampler deal at The Vapor Room: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../584061-recommend-vendor-me.html#post13698186

No specific samplers, but go to Vapure.com and get on their mailing list. Every so often they have a deep discount sale on their 10 ml size bottles and you can scoop up a pile of them for, I think, $1.85 each.

DeejStuff also has CYO samplers but they recently changed their pricing structure there and I don't know how the pricing works on the 3 pack and 6 pack right now. Good stuff - but in my experience very slow to ship.

I spent a lot of time scratching my head and guessing as to who and what to try, and finally signed up with a subscription service (Zamplebox). It's sometimes a crapshoot, but it comes to my mailbox regularly, and I'd say my breakdown is about 25% awesome, 25% good, 25% vapeable, but wouldn't buy again, 25% couldn't stand it, even after steeping.

Mt. Baker Vapor, The Vapor Room, Vape Wild all offer sample kits. The prices at Mt. Baker Vapor, Vape Wild, Killer Juice and ITC Vapes are very reasonable even without sample kits, so you might want to check those out for flavors you might be interested in trying. We have also enjoyed eliquids from VaporBomb, Seattle Vapors and The Broke Smoker. All vendors I have mentioned have a good selection of flavors, reasonable pricing, very reasonable shipping charges, good customer service, and good turnaround time.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! There is currently only 1 b&m with a tasting bar in my area. Really nice folks, and knowledgeable, but of course they're limited to just the brands they carry. With all the suggestions of vendors with sample packs and sample sizes, it looks like a person could sample from two or three vendors a month for quite awhile without having to go through a box service -- or getting stuck with a 15mL bottle you don't like. (I'm the only vaper I know besides the folks at my "neighborhood" store.)
Again, muchas gracias and vielen Dank. You guys are AWESOME!!!

Hiya LazyWench and welcome to ECF!

You gave me a great idea, so I spent a little time compiling a list. Hope it helps:

When starting out or looking for new flavors, you can get sample size bottles or sample packs (several bottles at a "group price") from the following vendors:
Happy Vaping!

drip club offers a birchbox like subscription

I just received an email from Drip Club that they are no longer taking new subscriptions and are switching to something called a "Hero Box". Hero | The Drip Club I guess the subscription model wasn't bringing in the revenue they'd hoped. Too bad I already have a few of these in the current Hero Box...$20 for 60ml is a pretty good deal (around $27 with tax/shipping to CA). The good news is they now have a 0mg option.

They will however continue to honor prior subscriptions apparently.
