What resistance (ohms) coil did you get?
I give away AIOs to people to try vaping and use the 'brother' Cubis tank myself every day.
They are all different. The 0.6 and the 1.0 are the least likely to flood. i.m.o. the 0.5 is the rogue for flooding and the 1.5 has almost no taste.

0.6. It is also worth noting that I quick rinsed it with water (which i've never done before) and I'm hoping that doesn't have anything to do with the issue.

There is no reason to rinse a new head with water and likley the culprit of your problem.

The only thing needed to prepare a new head for vaping is to thoroughly prime a new / unused head with e liquid before use.

No no, I didn't rise the new coil I rinsed the part at the top of the vape

So I replaced my coil because my old one was burnt out. Now when I try to vape (for reference I have a ego aio) it only spits the liquid out (which is disgusting) and produces very little vapor.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds here like tank is flooding coil with juice (leaking into coil, also gurgling sound). If device was working fine before you replaced coil, make sure new coil has all the o-rings in place and is seated and sealing properly. If you still have old coil head might just do side by side with new to verify all o-rings present, seated, and undamaged. Inspect wicks too while at it. Tighten parts just to snug. Turn upside down and let excess juice drain out tip and after a few vapes should start working normally for you.

Not unless you actually got water in the coil, no.

The 0.6 can flood a bit when you fill the tank. Unfortunately, you can't blast it dry at high power with the AIO.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Could type in:
Youtube: ego aio Spits liquid out
or
Vape: ego aio Spits liquid out
Looks pretty common.

youre flooded. You over filled and/or got juice down the pipe.
find a large garbage can and shake the thing sharply into it (drops of juice should spray everywhere hence the large garbage can. Alternately you can soak it out by rolling up a reallly thin piece of kleenex and dabbing it all the way down.

The 0.6 ohm coil is the notch coil, which floods constantly. I have the 0.5 ohm coil which is a "normal" wire coil and it doesn't have the flooding problem. While the idea of the notch coil is great, it is great for using in a dripper where the cotton goes through the center of the coil. Not so great in a tank where the cotton wraps around the outside of the coil. With the size of the notch coil, it doesn't leave much room for cotton so the cotton wrap around the coil is very thin, so the coil will continually flood.

I used to use the Cubis and Cubis Pro tanks all the time and did not get a single 0.6 ohm coil that did not flood. However, the 0.5 ohm coils works great.

You've totally lost me now. I've been using these for (goes to check)... 10 months and NOT ONE has flooded more than temporarily after filling. Are we living in parallel dimensions? :D

The 0.25 is the Notch coil, surely.

(or maybe it's time for me to retire...)

Oops....just checked the Joyetech website, and you're correct, the 0.25 ohm coil is the notch coil. The 0.6 is a MTL coil, so I've never used them before. It is the 0.25 notch coil that I have always had flood on me.

Phew.... I though the 0.6 experience had just been a figment of my imagination. :thumb:

I think it's also the #1 product I buy from Fasttech (not including waving gold cats)....

The 0.5 is fine with enough power. I've been using a 1.0ohm this week and that's OK too.

I ended up switching to the Freemax Starre Pure. Same benefit of no leaking because of top fill and top airflow, but the airflow is not as restrictive as the Cubis Pro. I still keep the Cubis and Cubis Pro as backups because I've got a ton of spare coils.
