"Well it has less harmful chemicals than cigarettes" Pretty much anything is less harmful than cigarettes. Slamming my dick in a microwave is healthier than smoking. What's your point? You sub ohm drippers pounding your lungs every five minutes with 30+ times the density and volume of vapor that was in the little tootle puffer cartridge used in the study. That won't hold any consequences down the line will it? /sarcasm

I don't know if slamming your "junk" in a microwave door is healthy , i never heard that recommended by anybody but you are arguing something that really cannot be argued at this point .

Fact is, some believe that serious health consequences would have shown themselves already if vaping diketones was harmful and some believe it will take a lot more time for health consequences to develop since most vapors have only been vaping a few years tops.

If your concerned about health consequences why do you continue to vape juice that contains diketones? Thats your choice , you can choose diketone free juice so this will be a non issue but imo , if you have serious health consequences from vaping this early in the game i would highly doubt it is from vaping.

I am one of the people who does not believe health consequences will show this early in the game . This stuff is not worth arguing about now , they all go nowhere with just endless back and forth which is a complete waste of time .

Let me ask you why do you feel your situation must be vaping related ?

Uhh...what?

You shouted credible at us. If you read the study objectively, it's fairly obvious that it presents at least some bias.

I realize that it supports your opinion as it is written, but that doesn't prove it, or you, to be credible. I feel for you with respect to the health issue by which you are affected. Your diagnosis is not an excuse to create another new thread to rehash the same information, especially considering the other thread is ongoing.

Only Vapers would take a CREDIBLE Harvard study showing that vaping is worse for you than previously thought and spin it until it looks like good news.
It is good news, it proves as we suspected that they are far safer than traditional cigarettes if used properly.

I feel extremely sorry for what happened to you and very angry at the vape shop who recommended you the setup/mg, if anyone is to blame it's the person who sold it to you, they definitely didn't have enough experience and that is a problem in the industry that needs to be addressed.

Dude, I DIY. Their Study is Irrelevant to my Vaping experience.
Please Note - Selecting Specific items to study based on prior knowledge and desired results is often considered JUNK Science.

Where do you think they got their selection list from?
VAPERS

You know, the ones arguing this concern all over the web:facepalm:

Oh, you have a Gun and want to shoot me, Here Let me load that for you:shock:

Hey man....sorry you got sick. Vent all you need. You got dealt a bum hand. I'm confident you'll eventually discover the cause. Until then, air it out. Who could blame you?

I don't even know the guys story so i will bow out of this thread , venting is good for the soul , it doesn't have to be aimed at everyone else though .

Couldn't agree more. I have no idea what happened to him, and given his present attitude, I'm not sure I want to know.
However, I was advised to develop a more constructive approach at times like this.

The hilarious thing about this is that you all think i'm the troll in this conversation.

You are. You are intentionally disruptive to your own agenda - Your health condition.

I am sorry for anyone suffering any type of irreversible progressive disease, especially younger persons who may miss many of the joys of life.
Never the less, you offer no Medical data linking Vaping. You are paniced about something you cannot control and lashing out at the only thing of substance you can find possibly plausible.

In case you never heard, :censored: Happens. Often without a reason.

One of my best friends passed away after a long battle with IPF, he was 6'7" and 480lbs.
Sadly a Head injury took him. He passed out while attempting to get out of bed and struck his head on the end of the night stand.
My point is - He was a never smoker, this was before Vaping -2006 and there was no Family link to IPF known.
................wonder what we could Blame? o_OMy Father, one of the healthiest people I knew and a very ANTZ type personality, passed from Pancreatic Cancer. I wonder why?:(

When will you post your Blog with all the scientific data to support your assertions?

Although I don't know you, please accept my sympathy, which is genuine. Your situation is one that I would feel absolutely lost in, and I in no way wish to add negatively to your experience.

But please understand that your logic doesn't necessarily work. There was a thread recently where a person blamed her friend's passing from esophageal cancer on vaping - a short period of time after they quit smoking.

I smoked for thirty years. There's still a chance I will develop lung cancer at some point, but it would be unfair and illogical to blame it on vaping.

I know you want answers, and I really hope you get them. Be strong for yourself and your loved ones, and do what you can to take care of yourself. You never know what the future will hold.

Darling, put some pop corn in the mike.
Ah, I wouldn't go that far. I'm in my 50's and if I got a diagnosis like that now I'd be freaking out a bit - let alone if I were in my 20's. It's a crap sandwich any way you look at it, and I have NO idea what gwapes6 is going through right now.

Five Stages of Grieving: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
Oddly enough, there's been a lot of interesting research that seems to debunk the "traditional" thoughts on grieving. Some people experience the stages in different order, sometimes skip stages entirely, and occasionally get stuck at one stage. It seems to not be as "one-size-fits-all" as initially thought.
