Open Cartridges Evaporate?

I think the answer to this must be yes, but if an e-liquid cartridge (or bottle for that matter) is left uncovered at room temperature, does it evaporate fairly quickly?

I wouldn't think that it would evaporate fairly quickly. Keep in mind how long it takes for water to evaporate. This liquid is a fair bit thicker.

I always keep my half-used carts and bottles of juice sealed if not inside of my PV.

There is a certain amount of alcohol in e-liquids which would be the first to evaporate. I would highly recommend keeping them capped.

I keep them capped and labeled for flavor, and in a small zip lock bag. Once that need refilling I leave out of the bag.

So far so good! Only 4 analogs so far today... that's coming from a pack a day for the past 15 years or so!

If I leave a cartridge on overnight it does seem to evaporate quite a bit.

You might want to find something other than a zip lock to better preserve juice.

Having the carts capped will probably negate this, but the type of plastic used for zip lock and similar bags is highly permeable. I learned this the hard way; My wife used to make my lunch for work, she started including an orange with slits to make it easier to peel. The problem was that whatever came in contact with the zip lock with the orange absorbed the vapor from the orange oils. So the vapor or oil went through two layers of the plastic to contaminate my sandwiches, and I mean contaminated big time. An orange peel flavored ham and cheese sandwich is beyond disgusting. . .

My concern, if the carts weren't capped would be that the nicotine might dissipate and weaken.
