Hi all,

My first coil build ever, using a new Russian 91%, registers 2.5ohms on my meter. But on my Provari, it says its open. I guess the center pin isnt going down far enough to make contact w/ the battery? Has anyone else had this happen?

If I unscrew the bottom pin on the Russian, it makes the contact block on top swing loose, i guess thats expected?

Thanks!

I was thinking the Russian 91% had an adjustable 510 center pin?? I don't have one, but that is what the listings at a couple of vendors I checked stated on their websites.

It does have an adjustable center pin. Center post is 2 part. The screw should come out separately without unscrewing from the center post. You may need to take the center post out to get ahold of it and remove the screw. I've read the screws sometimes come from the factory stuck. You'll only need to do this once.

As MaxPower stated it is a two part assembly, if you remove the screw from the bottom it screws into a hollow threaded screw that holds the base in place. It has it's own groove for a screw driver to tighten it up, then replace the adjustment screw to the correct position. You should be good to go....
