Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I've been experimenting with 1.5x and 2x flavor with no saline at all, and the loss of that salty note seems to be more than compensated by the much longer coil life. I'm going several days without even bothering to change the wick in my dripper when otherwise I would rewick almost every day. Starting to think the saline should go.

That would explain a few things.... I always just assumed I had gimpy kanger coils.

I don't see it on your site.

It's going to take me a few days, probably. I'm not a very confident writer.

Got the vanilla flavoring in today, put half of the bottle in and shook until it looked milky from all of the microscopic bubbles. Should I let it steep for a few days do you think?

Theoretically, but if it were me I'd have to try it before then.

Yeah I did have to. It was mandatory haha and I'm pretty certain that the vanilla was the problem. Prior to adding it the taste was just an intense mashup of all sorts of berries. Now it mellowed out, it's creamier (which if it wasn't I'd be seriously worried for my taste buds haha) and I actually taste the lemon. Which prior to adding the vanilla I did not even have a hint of when I vaped the stuff. I do find that last bit a tad odd, maybe the vanilla mellows out the other flavors enough that the lemon, although it is in smaller ratio, just pops more.

Edit: And again as ALWAYS, thanks for the excellent customer service! I really do appreciate it. You may want to offer the ratio of flavors I got originally this time as a berry blend flavor or something of the sorts though. It was MUCH different than Crunchberry but was still fantastic.

Kind of like how I barely taste the chocolate in mocha, but mixing a hint of peppermint in and the chocolate comes to the forefront.

All over the place
Medicine Flower just got back their diacetyl testing - all flavors are clear except for caramel and butterscotch, and they might have been a false positive. They both test at under 0.02% diacetyl in the flavoring. Both are being retested to pin down the exact numbers - but an RY4 at 0.32% caramel flavoring can be said to be less than 0.000064% diacetyl.

To me this is good news - I can live without caramel, but I'm pleased to hear how LITTLE is in it. And thrilled that medicine flower is embracing their vape-related customers by having this testing done. I have requested copies, hopefully they will oblige.

Awesome! That is all-around good news.

So lately I haven't been on as much as usual, but I wanted to share a couple things.

The good news is that root beer is coming along nicely and I'm ready to get some input. This is not a finished product, but it's well past the beginning stages. There's wintergreen, anise, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, vanilla, and citric acid. The citric acid was the real kicker to make it all come together.

Next three posts I'll send 15mL to try - just let us all know what you think after you try them.

Now the bad news is that by the end of this weekend I'm going to have to start charging for shipping. $2.95 for regular, $4.95 for priority. International will stay the same. The ECF coupon code will be changing from 15% off to 10% off. I hate to do it, but it's what has to happen for me to keep this thing going.

The other thing is saline - I've been testing everything to make sure it stands up to the lack of saline, and as long as the flavor level is 1.5x it's good. Any suggestion on how I make that transition? I'm thinking of doing away with the 1x flavor level completely and renaming 1.5x to something other than flavor junkie - considering it's really more of a good starting point than the "flavor junkie" level. Thoughts?

<----- Would love to try Rootbeer, but I just placed another order! On another note, after quite some steep time with the added vanilla, the Crunch is closer to normal, but certainly not the same (Note the 125 ml bottle I just order ;) ) could it be a change in the saline? I do think that you started tinkering with saline levels after I ordered it though. I just need my good 'ol OSV Crunchberry Lemon I'm starting to fiend out hahaha. The King remains an ADV for me, it really is fantastic.

To be clear, are you making the current 1.5x flavoring the new normal? If so I would be sure to post it on the main page of your site with a large "Please read" headline! I know a few people who purchase your liquids who are not members of this wonderful forum.

If the above is correct, flavor junkie could become "I don't recommend the new flavor junkie (2x flavoring) because this is perfect where it's at"

Oh and I do think that the ECF code should be 12.5%, a nice middle ground :vapor:

All kidding aside, great work Josh, you should be proud of yourself!

Maybe you could give the option for saline or no saline for a while just to get feedback, but honestly, if you say it's better then I believe you. I would include instructions on the saline free juice on your web site, such as "if you liked Flavor Junkie with our e-juice that used saline, you should go for X flavor level now with our saline free juice."

Flavor junkie is my preference for all non tobacco flavors. I like tank for tobacco's.

I've entered more contests (ECF, Reddit, FB, etc) for Open Source than any other vendor and never win. I give up. Just placed my first order. Wish me luck - I think I have weird taste buds based on all the trys I've made before with other juices that didn't live up to the reviews IMO.

I went for Crunchbetty, The King, Toka Cola, Sometimes You Feel Like A and Twisted (that sounds so unique!). They just sounded so interesting.
