How long do these reviewers let the juice samples steep before reviewing them?

Generally it seems like they have so many eliquid reviews in their queue that the turnaround time is far in excess of normal steep times. Eric (SecondHand Vapor) had bottles dated in late April, RubyRoo was sent samples that were already steeped, Candy McCann waited 2-3 weeks. Zvaper has had samples at least 2 months and there are still vendors ahead of me in the queue.

Ok. I'll step forward as a guinea pig. (Since I have not yet had the opportunity to order from you yet, I promise I will not treat the experience--no matter the outcome--as indicative of the rest of the line. :)) So, what's next? PM my contact info?

Yep, PM me. Naturally extracted rare heirloom peppers - and I thought it made sense to try vaping them. :) I do look forward to peoples' reactions.

I'm going to do a lung hit on a .12 ohm tiger coil build in a double cross with the top off when I get the sample.

Our lead story tonight - Habanero vapes - a fad or just plain ridiculous? But first, in unrelated news, the fury of Smaug was unleashed today...

What have I gotten myself into? I'll just go the tank route--I have an evod glass that needs to see some action. :)

The samples might be too thick for an Evod. He does sell juice made for tanks (it's an option), but it kind of sounds like the samples were already made and if they are I am guessing they are thick for drippers. Let him know you will be using it in a tank.

Dripping can be done... I was just thinking of something I can sacrifice torture gently use with the heat that will likely come from the beast.

They're thinned down - I always intended the Habanero vapes to be something for the missing throat hit in a low-wattage low nic setup, I imagined it being used in an evod tank on an ego or MVP.

OK, so I mixed my first RY4 tonight. The tobacco absolute took some prep work - I mixed 10mL of the tobacco absolute (a dark, nasty, oily substance) with 100mL of VG in a 250mL Erlenmeyer. I then vacuum filtered that mess, transferred the filtered liquid, cleaned the vacuum filter, then filtered that stuff again. It's still cloudy, but not so nasty looking.

Added that at a rate of 5%, then 0.5% caramel and 1.6% vanilla. No secret tricks, no sneaking apple or pear in there (although I bet that'd be good.)

Let it steep for 5-10 minutes (lol, it's true) and it's really vapable. Huge tobacco flavor, more than I might want all day but probably perfect for everyone else in the world. Caramel next, it's exactly what it should taste like. Very, very little vanilla, but I know from experience that will only come with steeping. I need to make this bottle last for a one week and two week testing, but damn this is promising.

Ordered walnut flavoring tonight, gotta start work on blackberry walnut tobacco. Think I probably start off with a simple blackberry flavor to have a base to start something more complicated.

Mixed root beer two days ago, it's going to need a few modifications (the allspice is making me cough too much and is getting cut out completely, the birch was slightly overpowering, needed more vanilla) but I think it will end up being awesome.

What did you put in this juice? It's here already....

Starting off with the sub-ohm dripper?

edit:
When I first mixed this with 5% pepper extract it was too weak for me to taste the pepper. So I tried 40%.

Ow.

That's why I waited a while before I was ready to try it again. I think 10% is much more realistic.

Yeah, I thought about that after I made the post and knew you'd have a smart answer for me. I can't believe how fast it got here.

Is the habanero sauce pre steeped and ready to go?

You should know by now what I'm gonna say - just try it!

The habanero extract is reasonable well aged, but the date on the bottle is accurate, so it's only a few days old. The mango has a bit of a rind-ey taste that mellows with time, but the white peach is pretty terrific fresh. The habanero is what it is. :)

I guess in the end... I don't know the steep time because this is new and there's not really anything to compare it to.

We got ours too, and I have to thank you for the delicious surprise sample you included for me. Really thoughtful of you (yes, that's my favorite flavor). It definitely needs at least a few days, which works out perfectly.
My husband went to bed early, and although I hadn't planned on it, I stuck a few drops of HPM in a dripper I had been using with some fruity stuff..and..whoa! It is amazing!!!! The fruit is just wonderful (and should be its own flavor), but the habanero comes off as a very unique hit. I really like it! Perfect for someone as hard of tasting as me.
You may have a hit on your hands. Can't wait to hear what your other testers think, but I'm not a hot-spices lover and I find it to be so different and so jazzy.
