The kGo is arguably the best of the fat batt ego/clones. Great starting voltage, stable throughout the battery life, huge battery. The Roughstack will give you more flexibility if you ever decide to try different voltages (3.0v, 3.7v, 5v, 6v, 7.4v) but you'll need to invest in different batteries & their respective chargers.

I'd say it's a toss up: simplicity vs. expandability. Pick whichever you think will compliment your vaping style & current gear the best.

EDIT Sorry, I didn't realize if you meant the Roughstack or the Maxi Roughstack. For the former you'll need the long body to try voltages besides 3.0v/3.7v.

Thanks--I think i've decided on the kgo-someone pointed out to me that because of the button placement on the roughstack its not too versatile in terms of different cartos not to mention tanks won't work without an adapter. Now I just gotta wait for them to be in stock. they're accepting "back orders" but...i dont like the idea of paying for something that isn't in stock yet!

If you already have a Grand and a VV box mod then going for a KGO/Roughstack is a major downgrade IMO. Why not go for a REO mini or a lil sister (VV box mod)? They are both relatively small and still pack a good punch. Although, you'll be suffering on the time you get to vape.

Would mention the VV Army Tank V2 but from that last I heard. J isn't taking any orders at this time. You should pm him and find out. Besides a REO, it is definitely on top of the food chain when it comes to bottom feeders.

Both of those get good reviews and you probably won't go wrong with either, but I would choose the kgo because of where the button is. It may be just me but I don't like the idea of the button being on the top or bottom.

I don't know anything about these, but at least it had the button in the right place, plus one of those and the tank should be pretty simple. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...der-thread-shine-pawz-juice-ce2-tank-mod.html

I've got my eye on the vmod from vapage, because I just like the looks of it. I'm not sure if it qualifies as simple, but vaping on the 2.8 ohm silo at 6 volts is bound to be different lol. www.e-cigarette-forum.com/.../215365-vmod-vapage-com-update.html

Hangsen has some stuff out that's supposed to be a little different design and it's been getting good reviews. Look for the echo reviews if you want to check it out.

Good luck with whatever you decide and let us know!!! Happy vaping. :vapor:

The KGO was the first ecig I ordered, along with a 5V Tekk Mod. While I have since journeyed further down the enticing dark side of mods (this is a very seductive hobby/lifestyle), and despite having a Reo Grand and Provari, I still regularly use my KGO. It is discreet, hits great, easy to use and very reliable. Coupled with an Ego Mega Dual Coil or even a regular one, it is a fantastic vape, and is especially useful on occasions where the Reo's roadtrip capabilities were not needed, or it's aesthetics would not fit in.
