Hello again all! I'd like some advice from some of you seasoned vapers (vaporers?) out there if you have a few minutes to share an opinion. First of all, a HUGE thank you to whoever posted the fastech website. Lots of great deals on there. Some not so great when looking at workmanship and materials as well I'm thinking, but alas I digress, lol.

I'm looking at this iTaste SVD VV/VW mod: $37.21 iTaste SVD Variable Voltage/Wattage Mod / APV - telescopic / VV / VW at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
And since I'm going to start the "tinkering" phase of my vaping, I'm also thinking about getting this Genesis Turbo Steam clone thingie do: $14.80 Steam Turbine Genesis Style Rebuildable Atomizer (3.0mL) - w/ stainless steel drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I know that last one is a knock-off, but it's stainless and glass so hopefully the quality is ok in spite of the cheap price, and it comes with some screen, wicks, and wire to get me started.

Do these look like something that will work, hopefully the battery for a long time, and the atomizer for long enough to tell if this is a direction I want to go in?

Thank you all in advance, and hopefully these aren't questions that have been asked a million times before I got here!

Oh, almost forgot...what's a good place to buy a battery and charger on this side of the world?

Ricky

the wick/wire isnt the best so dont get too discouraged if it gives you some issues. genesis atomizers (the steam turbine) arent exactly beginners kit. maybe check out a kayfun clone for first time rebuilding instead.

as for fasttech great prices but very slow shipping so dont sit by the mailbox just yet.

as for batteries they a bit safer then atom bombs LOL if you use an ego or cigalike you already use them in smaller form.

the mod wont allow you to do anything stupid to the batteries.
rtdvapors, lighthound, illumination supply and orbtronics for batteries they all sell good chargers as well my fave is the xtar vp1 or spII
aw
sony
panasonic
samsung
MNKE
are choice batteries.

you need to always use high drain batteries in the mod.

This is an old thread, but wanted to say thank you again Thrasher for your reply. I just wanted to report I'm now rocking the Genesis clone, running dual coils @ 0.9ohms with cotton wicks, drilled out the air holes, then chamfered them to stop the whistle, lol, and now I'm blowing steam like a freight train! Next step...something a few steps down from my 18mg juices so I can actually use it without passing out, lol.

:)
