Yeah I think because I recently smoked and just got back into vaping (even tho I was vaping and smoking gotta love stealth vapes at work!) that at the moment I'm looking for that smoking sensation to get over it then possibly I may get into lung inhales later down the line who knows :)

Yeah I would only get a dna30 that has interchangeable batteries as I don't like internal batteries either! So it was actually the cloupor one I was looking at for 80 quid on Grey haze :)

I have considered the reo but still unsure! I hear the reo RDA doesn't really like to go too low ohm then again I think they are created a new RDA that will ? Not sure tho!

Dbeast64 how many watts to you set your dna30 to with the kayfun?

Yeah I've considered the Helios actually looks a lot easier to build dual coils too!

Robot arm robot penis either one haha I just wish some people wouldn't look at vaping as weird but as what it actually is.. An amazing healthier alternative !

Oh sweet I will defo look into the tube dna30 thanks man :) only thing is... Isn't it going to be quite long? It's the reason I took a step back from my normal regulated devices because with a kayfun on top it does get quite big!

All Reos sold on reosmods.com have the subohm kit installed. I have a .65 ohm dual coil build in both of my rm2s and getting really great flavor. Best vape I've had in 2.5 years of vaping.

There's no reason to vape sub-ohm on a regulated mod. Quite frankly, it's dumb and dangerous.

Yeah what do you mean by this? The dna30 takes away the danger of it obviously not dangerously low sub ohm as it wouldn't fire but it's capable of it.

Ah good to know with the reo going sub ohm! It's a toss up between that and clouper dna30 really! Is the clouper just a clone?

Craigo, after reading the posts, I highly recommend the DNA 30 box mods. We seem to have a very similar vaping style, my daily driver is usually one of my 3 KFL style tanks on my DNA 30 box mod, along with an RDA like the Patriot or Omega and some dessert juice to treat vape throughout the day and change the flavor up.

A KFL around .6 or .7 ohms and good juice is just a match made in heaven in my opinion. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions I might be able to answer.

As to the DNA30 without interchangeable batteries, I say good call. Subohming on a device that doesn't have removable/replaceable batteries bothers me, because I have specific batteries that I'm comfortable using, being the Sony VTC 5.

As to the Reo, I think your referring to Robs proprietary Reomizer? If your asking if that doesn't like to go too low on the ohms, I would affirm (confirm?) that. With the stock airhole on the Reomizer, it doesn't have an open draw at all. More open than a Protank, something like a kayfun or so. Not really a great atty for lung inhales, and if you go for .3 ohms on a Reomizer, its going to be a pretty hot vape. Especially considering that they aren't very accommodating for dual coils, so a .3 ohm single coil would be a toasty vape.

Thats why I had my Trident modified for bottom feeding. It looks fantastic and vapes even better. The voltage a Reo puts out after factoring voltage drop on a fresh battery is somewhere between 3.8-3.9 volts, which is pretty respectable considering it's a box mod. Add to that being able to squonk fresh juice in to a quality RDA?

It doesn't get much better (in my opinion) than Reoville =]

Also, I can confirm that Rob is developing a Reo that will accommodate a kick as well. Exciting stuff

I love the Vapor Shark DNA 30 it will last most of the day unless you run it over 18 watts but the size is so amazing! they fixed all the problems they had with the DNA 20. They are also coming out with one that fits a 18350 it will prob be the next mod i own if you cant tell i love the device! VAPOR SHARK DNA 30!!! - YouTube

I drilled out my Reomizer air hole to 2.2 mm if I remember correctly. I also drilled the air holes bigger in my IGO-L and the dual holes in my Trident. I never tried dual coils in the Reomizer but I vaped down to 0.5 ohms with a single and it was great. People have gone down below 0.3 with no issues. People also stuff dual coils into Reomizers, but it's tight :)

Currently using a Chalice clone with dual coils at 0.5 ohms. I had to drill the air hole bigger and add another one to it.

Once the air holes are right I believe you can lung hit any atty.

I've only heard about the 18650. Nothing on an 18350.

Sorry Craigo, I missed this last time I read your post. Lung hits are pretty much necessary above a certain wattage. Depending on the device, IMO that starts at somewhere between 15 and 20 watts.

In order to get the lung hits working right you need an airy enough draw, or you just won't be able to move enough air comfortably. It doesn't matter if you make the power (watts) in a mechanical mod with low resistance or using a regulated mod at higher resistance. Watts determine the amount of heat you're generating in the atty. The more heat you make, the more air you need to move.

Having said that, there are a lot of attys that perform very well at lower power levels. They will not make the same amount of vapor as fast as the higher power setups, but your vape quality is not only determined by vapor production.

Good luck with it :thumb:

Sorry on getting back to everyone so late just been an extremely busy day so far! Thanks for all the advise and replies from everyone it's much appreciated :D I think I will get the clouper DNA 30 :D it's a little bigger than the vapourshark DNA but interchangeable battery's are a must for my style of vaping (always out and about so if I take a screwdriver and spare battery I can always change the battery) obviously my concern with people looking at me funny sucking on a box I'm just gonna have to deal with! End of the day whatever works and keeps me off the analogs no matter how ridiculous it looks is a plus in my books! I actually like the look of clouper dna30 and I'm not usually a box mod fan! :D plus it's a lot cheaper than vapoursharks DNA ;)

Anyone know of a good uk vendor who sells them for a decent price? I've found one for 80 quid but they only have silver or black and I kind of want the blue one!

Maybe I'll join reoville in the future because a bottom feeder is so useful to have! Especially for driving but I use my kayfun for drives :p haven't tried dripping and driving yet haha

My nimbus has dual 2mm airhole but maybe I'll go for 2.5 and drop the ohm on a mechanical to see if sub ohm is for me maybe I haven't truly experienced sub ohms flavour yet!

Thanks man I think I will be putting in an order for one this weekend :D but running the kayfun at 0.6 isn't that a little too hot for it? Does the wicking keep up?

I worry about the insulator melting which I'm more worried on mech mods but I guess it wouldn't be so bad on a DNA 30 as it wouldn't fire if it happened so just added safety, security and peace of mind is all worth it :)
