Hello all new to the vaping forum, and I'm currently using a personal lava tank kit right now and enjoying it. Had a few problems but those are fixed.

Now I'm currently awaiting arrival on my V2 standard kit and I'm hearing mixed views most people say there great amazing wonderful then some people say there bad. I've tried the disposable and I like it pretty well am pretty impressed.

Now whats everyone's opinions on V2 cigs?

for a cigalike they work ok
finding out those are regular Kr808 batteries that can be had for 12 bucks each bummed me out.
but with the mini clearomizer they were kinda cool.

the cartomizers and juice can be found cheaper.

but they(the 808 battery) have a pretty big fanbase. check out the subforum.

V2Cigs is overpriced for what it is. You can get the same setup elsewhere for half the price. It's not necessarily a bad company, but they are overcharging for what is essentially bottom of the barrel merchandise.

OP I suggest sending back your package to V2Cigs unopened and get a refund. Then get a kit from SmokelessImage or Halo instead. Same thing, but half the price. Also, the flavors available at either of these vendors are infinitely better than V2Cigs, especially Halo.

What I plan on doing since it's 30 day money back gurantee and lifetime warranty it will be at my house in 9-14 days cause I got the free shipping. I will probably end up ordering from halo.

9-14 days!? If you order from Halo or SI, you will receive everything within 5 business days maximum.

If you buy juice from them, use the ECFTEN2014 for 10% off. Unfortunately, you just missed their Cyber Monday sale which was 15% off everything in stock. :(

If you, by chance, decide to go with SmokelessImage, they have a 16% off coupon - VOLTSAVE.

I'm thinking for Christmas as I usually get money gonna put it on my debit card and order either from smokeless image or halo. And I must say those g6 and triton models look awesome as can be. Do you think v2 pays people to say good things about them or is it 50/50 and customers do enjoy them. I'm just trying to stay smoke free analogs. And I thought v2 would be a great choice and If I don't like it I hope I can get my money back in time as I do really want to try it out first. If I'm unsatisfied I would like to check more into halo and smokeless image. Now for V2 can I buy flavor cartridges in stores or do I have to go online to buy them?

They were my first "real" e-cigs, last December (as in non-disposables or gas station crap). I really liked them, for cig-alikes. But, I can't vape PG, which I found out by some issues I had while using V2 and then filling cartos for them with juices from other places. So, I moved on from them pretty quickly. For cig-alikes, they're pretty good and the flavors are good, but they are expensive for what they are. There are cheaper ways to vape using cig-alikes, and you're probably better off returning it and trying something else instead, as spaceballsrules suggested.

The product V2 sells is not bad. It's just that they overcharge for it. They also do a really good job of making sure that they show up at the top of Google searches. I am sure that they pay for some of the "professional" reviews, and they also delete negative reviews on their own website.

You want to avoid buying prefilled cartomizers, especially from V2, as that can get expensive very quickly. You will want to learn how to fill the cartomizers yourself, which is not hard at all. The cartomizers that are sold by V2, Halo, and SI are all KR808D-1. That denotes the type of connection. You can buy unfilled cartomizers from a variety of vendors. KR808D-1 blank cartomizer - package of five black

I will add a video tutorial at the end of this post, but if you insist on getting prefilled, stick with Halo, SI, or even Vapor4Life, which offers lots of great flavors. Cartomizers - E-Cig Flavors | Vapor4Life E-Cigarette

They were a significant contributor to my ultimate success, at sticking with vaping, but I only lasted about 90 days with them. The prices were a bit on the high side, but the worst part, for me, was the atrocious shipping. If I got stuff in a week, it was unexpectedly fast. Usually closer to two weeks.

Imagine my surprise when I began receiving things 2-3 days after ordering. Refreshing, to say the least.

Good luck with your journey. It can be a tremendous amount of fun, and I wish you all the success of the many members here.

Salud!

To be fair, V2 is using what is called an enhanced KR808D-1. The enhanced version is better than the standard version. the standard version has 2 air holes and the enhanced has 3 air holes. There is also a super enhanced version and a gen-2.

I am grumpy with V2 about a messed up order before I found this forum. The enhanced like I said is better than the generic but a lot of people sell the enhanced version under a lot of different names.

To be fair it is possible they have done somethings since I last looked at them. They are better than the bargain basement KR808D-1's but again a lot of people have the enhanced version.
