For my Orchids I used a piece of toothpick to block one of the air holes on the inside of chimney, with some teflon tape to make it fit tight.

Originally I also used smaller pieces of toothpick to block the channels but it was a pain when trying to thread on the chimney. Broke out some 5-minute food grade silicone epoxy, it hardens without sticking to metal, it's NOT and epoxy glue. I put a small amount into the channels I wanted to block, screwed on the chimney, let it harden, remove the chimney and trim any excess with a knife. The silicon sticks well enough in the channel to easily screw on the chimney, and stays put when re-wicking, but can be easily removed with your finger if desired.

Thinking of building a dual around 0.6 ohm(i have 26 gauge kanthal) 10 wraps around a 1/8 drill bit... I got inspiration from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iWdivJ3p-s) figured it might be a good starting point. (I like the room to wick too should be easier)

Am I right here? Having 2 coils you have the 4 legs and one leg from each coil goes in the center post(positive)and then the other two legs are fed into the outer posts(negative)?? really new to rba decks and duals just want to know the basics...

Roughly how long should each leg be also? I have some labo cotton squares ill use to wick, was told to keep the cotton out of the juice channels(especially if you have high VG, which I do)

Finally, with the japanese cotton squares is it best to not twist it or compress it at all with fingers? just try and cut out exactly what you need and leave it alone?

any help here would be greatly appreciated!!!
