Ok I am about to order my first rta. I'm sure it's been discussed before, but any thoughts on the orchid RTAs? Haven't really found any good discussions on them.

They are older RTAs, but nothing wrong with that. They are inexpensive and work just fine. Airflow is much smaller than most of the new dual coil tanks, but that may suit you better?
It just might. I am moving up from some basic stuff. Been using a nautilus and some evod clearos.
You might find these too airy given what you are coming from. Also, they are dual coil. If you are just starting out, you may want to get a single coil rba to start. Something like a Kayfun Lite.
I recommend a Tobeco Hurricane clone. Its easy to build and wick, and airflow is pretty adjustable. Its also easy to fill, and you don't have to empty your juice to get the deck out.
I say go with a Kayfun Lite clone. Don't even worry about adjustable airflow you will leave it wide open all the time anyway, and later will probably want to drill out the air flow even bigger.
Also find a Kayfun fill tool to go along with it, so you don't have to dump the juice to get to your coil.
edit: BTW I have an Orchid base I use with a standard bell cap and Kayfun 4 chamber. Absolutely love it, but coming from a Nautilus, it just may be too much for ya.
