Just thought I'd share...
So, I couldn't get the sigelei #24, like I wanted, for my birthday. It won't be in stock for weeks. BUT... I just pulled the trigger on a sigelei Silver Dragon from 101vape. They got a shipment in that doesn't have the dragon logo on them (the reason I decided to buy it). PLUS they have a 12% off deal going, so I couldn't resist. I was wary about a bottom button, but decided to give it a go. I ordered a IGO-W to go with it, since I ALSO just ordered my first batch of DIY liquid supplies, and the rda will come in very handy. I got 2 Efest 18490 IMR's as well, and then ordered a Nitecore i2 from Amazon ($14!!!). I'm gonna stop by the newly opened B&M for some vape safe fuses, and a couple drip tips. Then to Lowes for some Noalox. Temco is sending me 100ft of 30g kanthal too.

Any other suggestions that i should get, or will need to go along with this?

I'm trying to think of a clever joke about all this, but I'm to excited.

Can't wait for vapemail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NICE!!!!

Sigelei Silver Dragon - 101 Vape

Wow...that look like a serious hunk of metal!!!

Wow...honestly...

It's not only a mod...it's a self defense apparatus! :D

I guess the only suggestion I can offer is get 18500's and a Smoktech kick and make that monster a VW mechanical!

Yes, it does look like a solid little bugger. Can't wait. I DID get 18490's, so that I can kick it when next month's vape budget rolls around...

Well after a month with the Sigelei 24 I can tell you that by now you would be having firing button issues. I am, and I'm not thrilled about it. My button now sticks, misfires often, fires weakly often too. Too often for my liking, that's for sure. Also, they have sealed the mechanism into the button section so you can't get at it to do anything about it.

The button on the 24 pushes a brass cone down between two brass screws that come in from either end of the section, and on mine, it's off center to one side, so I have to push on the side of the button to get it to fire right. I took out the screws and peeked through there. I see that the button on the Dragon is also in that white plastic that mine is, and if they have sealed the button in so you can't get at it I'd call that a design flaw. It certainly is on the 24.

About the only way you can deal with the button on the 24 is to tweak the screws coming in from each end of the button section, and it doesn't help much, or for very long.

I do wish you all the best with your Silver Dragon, it's a nice looking mech.

That sucks. I was hoping that the #24 would make all my dreams come true when it's finally available again. I will probably still get one though. I just did a search on the Dragon, to try to find the plastic part you're talking about. That's pretty :-/ BUT, I may be able to get a replacement bottom cap for it if it fails.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could get something like the Magneto switch for it? I ordered a Sentinel to replace the Sigelei 24. I'll prolly get a Magneto when they put an adjustable center pin in it. I don't want to have to muck around with my AGA-T2 to get it to work with the Magneto, which it won't currently.

Seems to me there's a market for replacement parts for the design flaws that surface in mods and mech mods.

Just sayin...

why do that when he wanted a mech?

Exactly. AND, why do that when I don't wanna spend $200? I won't buy a Provari because: I really don't like the look of it, it's way too damn expensive (I know, I'll probably spend more than that on other devices, but that's what I like - choice).

I realize that "You should have bought a Provari" may have been a joke, but I answered in seriousness anyway... :)
