Hello ^_^

Yesterday my boyfriend and I researched for hours and decided upon a grand. We saw that it was out of stock, so I have it written on my calendar what day it will be back in to hopefully grab one.

We decided to try out the mini anyways, since it will give us two vaporizers between us both. We also goth 3 AW 14500 batteries, and a Pila charger on the way as well.

Now we need more juice and either atomizers/drip tips or some cartomizers.

Up until now we've only used cartridges on our riva, our first and only vaporizer.

I'm leaning towards a 510 1.8 atomizer and pyrex drip tip.
He's leaning towards a 306 atomizer and pyrex drip tip.. not sure what ohm he would prefer.

I'm also interested in the Resurrector 1.7 cartomizer many of you seem to rave about, but since I've never used a cartomizer I had some questions about it. One of the main draws to the Reos was not having to refill the carts and to get away from the "filling" inside the carts... Can someone explain why you would put a carto you have to refill on a bottom feeder? Does the bottom feeder itself refill it somehow? I tried to look this up on youtube but couldn't find much.

All that being said, I'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to suppliers. I tend to just go through the list here and see which ones have the "best following" in terms of post counts.

Where is a good trusted place to get the atomizers? I think I have a general idea on the cartos and drip tips.

Also if you could throw out a few good, trusted juice suppliers. We've ordered from BWB a few times and love their products, but its always fun to have a little more variety as well. Since we'll be vaping a whole lot more juice, I'd like someone who it pretty upfront about any added chemicals that may go into it. Just don't wanna run into any bad side effects that will scare us away from this whole thing.

Thanks :D

Welcome to the team! You and your boyfriend have made a great choice. As for your questions:

1. With cartomizers. It's best that you fill them first (45 drops for the resurrectors) and then let them sit for 30 minutes before vaping. Some just add about 20 drops and then squeezing the bottle a little. While drawing on them without pushing the button (primer hit). After the initial fill. When you've reached 15 draws or so (once you feel that the taste is diminishing), just lightly squeeze the bottle and do another primer hit. This will keep the carto moist.

*The Reo will fill a cartomizer fine. This is because the e-liquid is coming from the feeding tube through the atomizer connection. While your taking a primer hit. It will draw the liquid into the filler. Thus, filling it or "topping it off". This eliminates the issue of dripping on top of the cartomizer.*

As for atomizers, you would want to drop 6 drops into them and let it sit for 10 minutes to let it seep into the mesh and wick. Personally, I take the wick out because I primarily use 306's which the wick has a tendency to burn pretty quickly. Then after 5 hits (or 8 if your using a 510). Then lightly squeeze the bottle and take a light draw without pushing the button. Once you feel some resistance or hear a gurgle. Then quickly stop, most Reo users/Reonauts call this a "blind squonk".

2. If you want premium grade atomizers. Than here's a link for that:

Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories

Cisco grade atomizers are known to be the best in the industry. Also, they don't have any primer in them which is a BIG plus. With the 306's, I would suggest starting with 1.8 ohm's. This is in the middle in terms of heat and will also allow you to taste the e-liquid better if your using a fruit or dessert type. 1.5's have the greatest amount of heat and are great for tobacco BUT, they have a big learning curve which can prove to be expensive. Since they run hotter than a 1.8 or 2.0. The coil has a tendency to pop quicker which will mean that you have killed your atomizer.

Once trick is to let it cool after 5 - 6 hits. If you try to feed it right after than there goes your atomizer.
2.0 ohm atomizers are cooler than the other two and are best for fruit and dessert flavors. The negative about this ohm is that you barely get any throat hit IMO. But, they are more forgiving in general.

*Another vendor would be vapor kings which have great bulk deals for joye atomizers (they do have primer in them). Some people really like this brand and consider them the best.
BULK 901 801 Joye 510 and 306 atomizers

*For cartos:

Crystal Clear Vaping

One of the cheapest in the industry. Great 15 carto deals with free shipping, drip tip, and syringe.

5. E-liquid

If your boyfriend really wanna get into 306's than I would suggest de-wicking before he primes (drops some liquid in it and letting sit like how I explained in my last post. Directions for that:

Take a paper clip and look under the bridge. You'll notice that there's some filling (silicone wick) there. Just push it out from one end. When the wick is exposed than take a tweezer and pull all of it out. It'll only take a second. Then prime and vape.

Another benefit of de-wicking is for atomizers that do have primer in them. This will remove a majority of it once you have blown some of the primer out. Although, IMO I would get Cisco 510's and 306's so you don't have to deal with primer in the first place. It's STILL undecided what it really is and the consequences of inhaling such a substance once it's been heated.

the buzz is the resurrectors will be in within one week. not sure about the resurrectors. btw most everyone uses a drip tip with cartomizers too. your 510 tip will ft the 510 cartos (boge or whatever) but I don't know about resurrectors. I am so glad you found the REO!! many ofus have wasted countless dollars on our journey on products that just don't work for us. in terms of a mod that delivers consistently you've found it, and the ease of use is matched by none on the market. once you find the right atty, the reo is going to be rocking your vape! you ad your BF will statistically speaking going to be two incredibly happy vapers. WELCOME NEW REONAUTS!!

Welcome new REOnaut(s)!! :)

There is some learning curve to atomizers...mainly learning how to keep them wet enough (dry=burnt hit) without flooding (flooded=weak hit). Cartomizers flatten the learning curve because they stay wet longer and are more difficult to flood. That said, you have the best pv in the world to learn on. Once you "get" it, nothing but pure vaping bliss.

Welcome Violy! :) As you can see there are lots of folks who are passionate about what they like on their mods. Just remember that this is a trial and error thing, so some things will work great for you and others will not. It just a little takes time to work it all out. And if you find yourself having difficulty with your REO, you will always get help here!

PS....I like the LR306 2.0Ω atties from Cisco. :D If you like sweeter juices, I would recommend the 2.0Ω...if you like tobacco flavors you might like the 1.5Ω or anything in between. If you're going for Cartos...then 2.0Ω Boge are good too. :)

Thanks again everyone <333

I've been stalking my email for when everything will arrive.

Today I'm expecting the charger and batteries.
Monday I should be receiving the pyrex 306 and 510 tips, as well as a two 510 Cisco atomizers (1.5 and 1.8), and two Cisco 306 atomizers (1.8 and 2.0). I'm not sure about a few bottles of liquid or the Reo itself, as far as delivery date.

Hopefully I've given us enough selection to find what's perfect for each of us. :D I think the only thing I'm iffy on is the strength of juice we got. I still have a few bottles of 24 and 12 (hopefully they are good after a few months of not much use). I ordered some 10 and 6. I figured the more we vape (which I hope is a whole lot) the weaker it should be. The 24 was too strong for us even in the Riva. 12 seemed good but we weren't vaping all day everyday.

Then we get to fight over it until we order our grand LOL. Does purple sell out quickly?

So excited !!
