Ordered Protege Sunday - New or old switch?

Hey, I just ordered my protege on Sunday, and then I was reading about some switch issues. So I was going to have my brother ( who I have convinced to order one as well ) grab a few extra switches in his order....

But now.... I am curious if the protege is shipping with the newer mechanical switch?

Original switches are still shipping. The mechanical ones won't be standard until the next production run- likely after the new year. The mechanical switch is currently available for pre-order on our website- you can order it as a spare switch for your Protege. Hope this helps!
