Ordered the VK yesterday

So after too many years smoking analogs I made the decision to quit smoking. I started about a month ago with standard nic lozenges, and had almost no success. They would kill the nic craving, but I was thinking about cigarettes all the time.

I had heard of e-cigs at that point and decided to start looking into them. After some initial research I opted for the Revolver Elite, placed the order and it arrived Tuesday of last week. So far I have had limited success with it. To the point that I am currently back on analogs. The biggest problem is the lack of satisfaction. The carts that came with it are virtually tasteless (though other 401 carts I've picked up elsewhere are a little better). With a brand new cart and freshly charged battery I would get good vapor, and a decent throat hit (never amazing though), but after three or four hits the TH is gone and the vapor is greatly reduced. These are also issues with the battery firing off on it's own, and the atty heating up too much for my liking.

With all of that said, I have been doing more research here and elsewhere and placed my order for the VK yesterday afternoon. I initially considered getting one of the mods (the SD and the GLV primarily), but I opted for the greater simplicity of the carto system.

Hopefully I'll be more satisfied with the VK :)

Your mom said not to say...
Cartomizer for your first buy was smart, very smart, at least $150 smarter than me, lol! While I imagine everyone who has been here for any length of time knows that my E-Cig of choice is the GreenCig cartomizers but the KR808D-1 is a great choice, I along with Jen also believe that you will be extremely satisfied with your purchase. The 2pc models rule in every way over the 3pc models, at least to me. I still understand why some people prefer the hassles of the 3pc models, having to mod it to even get it to work right is not my idea of a good product. There are some that do like to fiddle and I can see the appeal I have done some things myself but for a dependable vaping experience right out of the box the 2pc units are the champs. A HV mod with the 3pc is nice though since it really does bring out the flavors that's one reason I still keep them. You will most likely end up with at least 2 models somewhere down the line, I imagine if you are anything like the rest of us. You will go through the "Hmm I wonder if this is better than the one I currently like", and you can easily justify purchasing the kit because even buying one kit a month it's still much much cheaper than tobacco cigarettes.

It's kind of like having a birthday once a month or more depending on your ordering habits, but it's a change of pace to actually look forward to the mail instead of dreading the bills that arrive like clockwork. There are some days where I really really wish for a gigantic EMP that takes out all the PC's and databanks in the world freeing up all debt, lol!

Just so you know, if you are unhappy and go back to your M401, I have about 30 unused filled and sealed carts for that sitting here collecting dust, and two batteries.

I've never thought once about using them once my first V4L order arrived.

Hope you like, hope you stay and keep us posted!

Looks like it shipped yesterday afternoon, so I should get either Sat. or early next week.

Snarky: Technically the VK is my second PV, the Revolver Elite was my first. Still I was able to get the VK with the money saved from not smoking for less than two weeks (yes, smoke lots + lots of TX taxes) so I totally understand what you're saying. I may still end up getting a mod for home use, but if the USB pass through works well I may not :)

bornagainst: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind :)
