I'm looking for THE dark chocolate flavor. Y'know... Hershey's semi-sweet morsels kinda cocoa richness. My chocolate guesses have been not bad, but I'm tired of not bad and risking overflavoring to get that richness.

I'm not into chocolate but my better half loves chocolate raspberry so I did try several different chocolate flavorings until finding what she liked best. Most of the ones I tried tasted like milk chocolate, not dark chocolate with one exception. Taste is highly subjective and with that in mind here's my observations/opinions; TFA bittersweet chocolate extra was the only "dark" chocolate flavoring I ran across, less sweet than the others it tasted something like the unsweetened Hershey cocoa powder used in baking. TFA double chocolate (dark) tastes like a milk chocolate Hersey bar and double chocolate (clear) tastes like milk chocolate frosting, of the two the dark version tastes slightly better but is harder on wicks/coils. FA chocolate also tastes like milk chocolate similar to TFA's double chocolate but not quite as good. Inawera chocolate tastes like an old fashion tootsie roll. Capella double chocolate has a slightly darker milk chocolate taste but also has an off flavor note unique to many of Capella's flavorings. For my wife's mix I ended up blending TFA and Inawera flavorings to create the "chocolate" nuance for her mix. Best of luck to you and hope you find the taste you're looking for.

Thank you so much. I have the FA and I agree that it is ok.

One of these days I will take the plunge and buy Medicine Flower Chocolate, Dark Flavor - 15 mL 74538 $22.00. I have heard that this chocolate is the truest taste.
"Yeah, you use MF at sub-1% levels. Their stuff is pure flavor, CO2 extracted from the actual item on the label, and not diluted with VG/PG/alcohol at all. "

Not many people use Medicine Flower flavors, probably because they're so expensive. Would you still be interested in my recipes? • r/DIY_eJuice
Medicine Flower TRUE Natural organic flavors C02 extraction
Not carried by ECX.
DIYFS Chocolate Toffee Dream at 3.7ml/ $2.45 gets an honorable mention. I the flavor is better than most. Right now this is my go to, I don't get the toffee but the chocolate comes through better than most I have tried.
CA Chocolate Coconut Almond another honorable mention. I'm not tasting the coconut or almond that much. They may accent the chocolate but my taste buds may be bad.

I was thinking about my last post, and I figure that I have to add the following:

The "other" two chocolates that I use are FLV Milk Chocolate, which replaced the Inawera one, and Hangsen Australian Chocolate for a darker chocolate accent.

Some Baker Flavors flavoring can be found at Vapinzone under the VZ SC Gourmet category if you do not want to buy them directly from Russia like I did.

VZ-SC Gourmet Chocolate Truffle
VZ-SC Gourmet Chocolate Flavoring
VZ-SC Gourmet Dark Chocolate Flavoring

P.S. I dilute both MF and BF flavoring to 10%.

Took me a long time to make good chocolate ejuice and the flavoring that I mentioned in here really helped!
