Just HOW do you order from US when there's no delivery service next to Canada post - I need order sent to local post office...may sound dumb BUT believe me, I ALWAYS have trouble when a company wants a physical address for my home in "da bush!"

The local post office should have a physical address.
When ordering from say GV your order gets sent via USPS to Canada from there CP will send the order where they need to.

Thank you for that re-assurance - I almost got dinged $300 on my starchoice bill for a reciever that I almost didnt get a few months ago...hence the panic!
Yeah I can see why you would panic.
I've never had an issue with GV or any other American retailer. They simply use USPS to get it to Customs and then Canada Post takes over.
Canada Post takes over ---> 2011/12/14 17:51 MISSISSAUGA Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing
17:18 MISSISSAUGA International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs
2011/12/13 10:12 International item processed in origin country
10:12 International item has left the origin country and is en route to Canada
Starts with USPS --->2011/12/12 22:17 International item mailed in origin country
