This is the first Origen Dripper Clone I have seen.
I know people have been spying it on Alibaba - I believe made by Yeahsmo.
Well VapingTech.net has been the first and only US vendor (or any vendor I could find) to list this for sale.
I ordered this 3 days ago and have it in my hands today :)
Special thanks to jizzles for finding this.

The quality seems excellent.
The finish is super - much better than I was expecting.
Very nice brushed finish on the top cap and very well polished barrel.
Keep in mind I've only had it in my hands for about an hour.

The first and only flaw I've found so far - which may be a big one to some people...
On the original you can set up a single airflow hole as it has 3 set of 3 differently sized holes.
WELL, the china cloners can't seem to get airholes right. lol. They put 4 sets of 3 differently sized holes.
Hence - no way to close off a set to have a single hole configuration. DOH!
Not a problem for me, cuz I think this dripper is made for dual coil operation (considering the two drip wells and all).

I don't know the exact hole sizes on the original.
But I measured the holes on this clone. The smallest is 0.5mm, middle is 1.4mm, and the big on is 2mm.
I'm actually considering drilling out the tiny .5mm holes to 2.5mm to see how it does.
It can make clouds with the top cap completely off.

That's it. On to the iphone pics.
I also got my Turtleship V1 tobeco clone today (from C2Cvaping).
I think they are an excellent match with the polished and brushed finishes.

It came in a tiny, crappy white box - trashed.

Spare o-rings, allen key, spare allen screws, a little wick and wire.

Center post/510 screw is brass (no sliver plating)

Comes with a nice drip tip (although not really my style - too long for me).
Center post does have a trap hole drilled through it - which I was able to get 2 strands of 26 awg kanthal through.

Looking good on the Turtle.

26awg dual coils 10 wraps each - 0.48 ohms
(I'm gonna go lower next build)
I replaced the allen head screws with standard phillips heads - M2x4
These fit a lot of attys btw. Pack of 100 from Amazon here $4.80

Oh snap - that's a HUGE flaw for me! I have 2 Origens and run them both in single coil mode. The smallest airhole in single mode is perfect and has a smoooooth draw for those mouth to lung hits I enjoy. The flav is almost on par with my KayFuns (and is better with some juices that need a little edge taken off), and the vapor production is fantastic... in single coil mode with one air hole. So while I agree that the Chorigen problem will not be an issue for most folks, it's still a pretty darn big issue!

I was thinking of trying out single coils again for the sake of battery life. How do you have you coil setup?

Also, does anyone know of a way we can block an air hole for single coil mode?

@Jizzles - Glad you got yours too :)
You're right those pics look like .... No justice. Lol.
I was gonna put it on a few different mods to see what it looks like - but I really like it on my new Turtle.

@BenC.
Yeah, that's def a problem. Have you tried yours in single coil with both small airholes open?

I have to admit, I've become a little bit of a cloud chaser - so I mostly lung inhale.
I vaped it with the smallest airholes to see what the draw would be like.
It's def too tight to do lung inhales. It may be a little on the loose side for a single coil.
But the draw seems close to my R91 with the air flow screw turn in 2-3 turns from flush.

I was expecting a more flavorful vape. But that could be my build. I'm just not getting as much as I was expecting.
I'm gonna need some more time with it to see what kind of flavor I can get out of it.
It makes pretty decent clouds - but I like to have both and would rather flavor than clouds.

Figured a picture would say it all :)
And if it doesn't - 30g, 9 wraps or so, 2.2 ohms, each side of the cotton wick going into and lining the bottom of each well. I did try a vertical coil & dual vertical coils, but I like the flav / vape / performance from this setup the best.

Yes - by mistake the first time :)

A little too airy for me, and cut the flavor down noticeably. Vapor was still great though. But my baseline is a relatively tight draw, and I think the smallest hole in the Origen isn't all that tight actually... it's perfect and smooth. Unlike my Magma RDA which has fantastic flavor, but the smallest airhole feels smaller than an IGO-L's, but the next step up is like the airhole in a Patriot! Anyway - what I'm saying is that both of the small airholes open may be perfect with a single coil for some, but it wasn't for me. I'm not so much a cloud chaser but a flavor chaser and the second airhole just cut the flavor a bit too much.

I think you meant vertical coils.

But I think I will try some horizontal coils like that to see if that improves flavor.

Thanks.

I just realized - you can just twist the top cap and close off the smallest holes to get an even tighter draw.
But it probably won't produce the kind of flavor your looking for - direct air to the coil only.

I did :) - fixed with an edit. I blame it on the muscle relaxant and pain med I'm on right now (threw my back out on Sunday). Thanks for pointing that out, and good luck with the search for the best arrangement that works for you!
