Origin Mod Clone - Electric Shock?!

So, I just spent a few hours assembling and fumbling with my new Origin mod Clone and my Aqua Clone. The Aqua Clone is by Tobeco, but I am not sure what brand made the Origin Mod, all I know is that it came in a plain white box. Anyway, this was my first rba, and after assembling the coils and getting an OHM reading of 0.6, I decided to try it. It worked awesomely!

But sometimes when I hold it, pressing the button with my pinky, I will get a rather painful shock from the area where the tubes on the Origin screw in together. Is there anything that may be causing this...and any way I can fix it?

My only suggestion would be to clean the threads as much as possible and possibly get some conductive lubricant like noalox on there. Ive had something similar when my old mods 510 threads were stripping, I would get a light shock on my lips (SS mouth piece) when it was only getting a soso connection.

Had something similar with my Nemesis clone. Like said, clean the threads. That helped fixed the problem for me.

Cleaning the threads real good with some rubbing alcohol seemed to fix it pretty well for me.

Cleaned my nemesis, and still got shocked, or burned, however you would like to describe it. Put noalox just between the tubes, and problem solved.
