Alright. It's time to get our minds off of all our favorite flavors not being in stock for awhile.

Desert Island.

You're stranded on a desert island and you can only have 5 songs and 5 movies to last the rest of your life. And yes, for some reason you have an I-Pod and DVD/TV and electricity on the island. It's a game dammit.:glare:

What are they?

Music

Estranged-Guns-n-Roses
Interstate Love Song-Stone Temple Pilots
Scenes From an Italian Restaurant-Billy Joel
Shedding Skin-Pantera
Rock Bottom-Eminem

Movies

Fight Club
The Devil's Advocate
Natural Born Killers
Clerks
The Prophecy

Hmmmmmmmm tough one.
Music:
"And You And I" - Yes
"Junior Painkiller" (the extended version) - Depeche Mode
"Shippin' Up To Boston" - Dropkick Murphys
"Cortez The Killer" - Dave Matthews and Warren Haynes cover
"Hurricane" - 30 Second to Mars
Movies:
"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (I like the way you think, Morandir. I'll bring the ether :) )
"Dogma"
"Steel Magnolias" 'cause ya just can't have a decent cry without that movie, and if I'm stranded without a 22 ounce porterhouse and a framboise, then I'll be cryin'
"The Breakfast Club" what can I say, as a child of the 80s, I am required to include this movie. It's almost an anthem.
"True Blood" season 1 no, it's not a movie, but close enough, right?

If I could think of a movie wherein they showed how to build a seaworthy vessel, I suppose I'd give up one of the others.

Music:
Rhapsody in Blue - Gershwin (preferably Wakeman's version)
Billy the Mountain - Mothers of Invention
Trilogy: Op 5 - Yngvie Malmsteen
9th Symphony - Beethoven (complete if possible, 2nd movement if not)
Rock N Roll Juggernaut - Meatmen

Movies:
Phantom of the Paradise
Reform School Girls
Life is Beautiful
Flash Gordon
Ten Commandments

This was a really difficult list to compile. I had to settle on songs and movies that I've played to death over decades, and still love. Longevity is key when choosing desert island lists.
