OT: Excessive Stickiness

The Stickys are getting a bit excessive, don't you think?

I have my display options set for max (40), and I can't get more than an hour and a half back on page one now.

Too many more stickies and we won't ever see any posts, since the stickies are carried over to the next page.

Maybe it's time to unstick a few of these things? Just a thought...

I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't carry over to every page. That's not usually how typical stickies on message boards work.

I don't want to scroll through the same ten stickies every time I go back a page!

Yes, lots of good stuff there, but it takes up half of the page.

Thirteen at the moment, by my count. And I agree, they don't generally stick on page two - page-n - that is non-standard behavior.

yeah, that's the real issue--even if ALL of page one was stickies i wouldn't care, but with every page, it's very frustrating. however, as far as that goes, i don't know if the mods have access to the ACP on this board to change it.
