Ugh, that eel thing... My daughter loves it but I just couldn't eat it... i will try this time just for you ( after some strong sake )
But it's smoked eel! You mean you can enjoy uncooked fish, but a little bit o' eel puts you off? Definitely try it -- and have a pot or two of hot sake for me as well! (Just don't drive . . .

Well it was so much fun! Had great sushi and yes I did try the eel and it was actually very good! The chef put wasabi in practically everything which my daughters boyfriend and I loved, but not so much my daughter. When he saw that, he sent over a plate of sushi just for her, wasabi free.
The Warfield is in a pretty rough area, lots of street people, working gals, etc. One of those gals was kicking her pimps .... pretty hard with her purse, it was hilarious, even the ushers at the theater were cheering her on
And the show was great, very funny guy. Glad to be home tho, work tomorrow ugh.

I hope you have a great time! I do find him funny, but I must admit I can't stand that little kid voice thing he constantly does during his bits... That particular thing just bugs the crap out of me!
He's actually voicing a woman in the audience that he noticed making comments after each of his bits a long time ago
