OT - ...-Kicking DIY mouthwash

As a not-quite-ex-cigarette-smoker I became a sort of connoisseur of mouthwash, in the attempt to NOT smell like an ashtray. Most of the over the counter brands are barely decent - I prefer a minty KICK IN THE FACE. Only Tom's of Maine got close. So I was looking at mouthwash recipes and ended up trying my own, since many of the ingredients are already in my E-Cig liquid making kit. Here is what I cam up with:

6oz Distilled water
6oz Hydrogen Peroxide
2oz Glycerine
1oz PGA (Everclear)
3/4tsp crushed menthol crystals
6drops Tea Tree Oil

SHAZAAM! This stuff tastes GREAT and REALLY works well. As I am not a scientist I can only hope that I have not mixed chemicals that form a poison - if so, at least I will die with the ultimate in fresh breath. Either way, it KICKS ... and is probably a lot cheaper than store-bought.

Why tea tree oil?

Its pretty toxic stuff if you ingest it.

Be safe using that.

Because of its' antiseptic qualities.

Not that I'd want to swallow that mix even WITHOUT the Tea Tree Oil.

Have you tried soaking cinnimon in vodka? Thats pretty beastly too and works. Sounds less toxic too.
