OT: Rant and Rave!!!

Ok I am this ...... right now and here is why.

For 6 days I have been fighting strep throat, and SMILIN has been making me feel better, the menthol helps with the sore throat. So I wake up today after taking medicine and feel good. I go to work and find out I am closing with a rat, after the place closes my job is done, the side of mens in sears is clean that I had to do. I sit down cause I had chest pain's again, and thought my lung collapsed again. He comes up to me says I have a lot of work to do. I look at his side and say "Hey kid, your younger then me, and newer, so show me respect. Your side is trashed, so before you rat me out, worry about your stuff." Told my manager what happened and he got ...... at the kid. Now another manager comes, and yells at me for HIS side not being done, I explain to him what happen and he walks away. Man I can not catch a break today what so ever.

Sorry, I had to rant because I am that ...... off. And to top it off, my smilin refilled carts, are all effin empty, so I have no smilin to enjoy with my beer. GRRR! And I have a migraine which I get very easily. No break for me this week lol.

Sorry KK, can understand as I work retail too, but ya gotta brush it off and don't take it home with ya, I try to do this everyday, but I know it's hard. My day off today and I get three calls from my plant vendors and six from my co-workers about random crap.
Screw it, I BBQ'ed some ribs and had a couple beers, I'll deal with it tomorrow when I'm on the clock
Take care of YOU cus your job won't, and if you can't work? Well there ya go.

Yowza, Krazie! So sorry for your stress.... thats prolly where the strep came from in the first place! Have another brew or two and let the stress go. You will be much better off once the stress is outta your system, trust me!! We all work with jerks, just sometimes more often than others. I hope your situation improves!

I love this the best, cause I told the manager "If he comes back a bloody mess and/or on fire.... I do not know what happened..." he replies "Just do it in the store room, theres no camera's."

But thank you everyone, I had a few brews already and I am better. But I thought I would make a thread where if we have a bad day, the family can go and rant and rave about it! It is fun to rant and rave.

And I can relate on this one Plantlvr! I worked at my current job almost 5 years on 1st shift. I changed to 2nd shift this year. I've been woken up at all hours of the morning by customers who need/want something. I've finally stopped answering. It's my personal cell phone and I have to pay for the minutes! Plus, I'm not at work so I can't help them anyways! They can either call someone else or wait till 2pm when I get to the office!

Oh I can not wait to move, although it may not be for a while... I basically lived down there every summer, so I know how nice and plesent it is down there.
