Oh bov I am so sorry! As soon as I read the thread title I didn't want to click on it because I knew what was coming and didn't want to read it! I was so hoping I was wrong. I am also sorry I am so late to tell you my thoughts are with you, but I wasn't on yesterday.
Sorry for the loss of Reggie...Hopefully Chase eases the MIL's pain....
Two weeks back I became acquainted with "Spike"{Mini Pin} at my friend's backyard boat dock...Spike had been abandoned by my friend's neighbor a few weeks prior....My friend had been providing for Spike...Upon returning from fishing my friend and I witnessed the neighbor attempting too hit Spike with a rake...Not such a good idea....Long/short...the neighbors speed at disappearing saved a jail trip for me...Little Spike is curled up on my lap tonight...Warm, well fed and Loved...What every animal deserves...

One things certain...Spike won't be bothering her again....and she'll be needing a new rake too....I can be destructive when provoked....If my Buzz would only fire laser beams....Buzzkillah...Can you help a Brutherr out??? Maybe laser/death ray options???
In the past I've thrown some damn fine names on dogs....Still we're rolling with Spike...Not my fave.....Any suggestions for an 8lb. Pitt Bull wannabe??

LMAO!!!!! Love this ElDee....I've got some Jersey in me too that isn't pretty when provoked, especially in situations like animal cruelty. Can't help you out with naming the 8 lb. pit-bull wanna be (again, lol!) but I do have a mighty fine suggestion for where she can put her broken rake.

Bovinia, I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. I know how much it hurts...I just lost my beloved 18 y.o. baby less than a month ago.
Kaefo I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your furr friend. I'm thinking Bov is still without power. I know there were massive power outages in Mass. and Conn. from the storm.

I've been working here in the house the last few days finishing a major project....75* out and about and I'm stuck inside...Go figure...I decided with cold weather approaching I'd best enjoy a minute outside...I took Spike along with a cold drink and some joose....joose vaporized in a beta Pro....There are many great dogs buried in the immediate area we chose too enjoy a bit of the day....I'd been rummaging my brain for a name too replace Spike....too generic for me....then while in the resting place of his ancestors an epiphany of sorts.....
Spike's new name....as pronounced by Mick Jagger.....Keef......
Hey I'm a rolling stone...always have been,,,always will be.....Keith Richards....While I've never met him, I feel I know him....It's the outlaw bond I guess...
Pinscher in German = Terrier.....Keef has no ties too a Doberman....Mini Pinscher...not Mini Doberman Pinscher....Mini Pins are also one of the oldest breeds...Dobies began in 1880...Minis @ 300 years before.....Now I'm a die-hard supporter of the American Pit Bull Terrier....Don't tell Keef he ain't a Pit...
My project nears completion...70's* are predicted next week...HellYeah!!! Looks like me and old Keef might have too exit the premises...Eastern Edge of the Continent....Yepper...Got a hundred worth of flavors the other day...e-z sweetz should be here today...a cinnicide experiment looms...
