I hope you all will indulge me in bringing this thread back one more time. I went to pick up Reggie's ashes this morning, and they included a plaster cast of his paw print. Sometimes music is the best way to express emotions when you can't find the words. Thank you all so very much for understanding.
They're so special and important in our lives, like family, some times more. In two weeks it will be 18 months since I lost a very special girl named Shilah. A loss I haven't fully recovered from yet, she was like no other. I remember well that day picking up her ashes. I feel your pain. Again I offer my condolences. I wish I could offer more but I know there's nothing I can say that will make it better. If you need to say something, revive this thread as often as you'd like. There are a lot of good people here to help you through this as I'm sure you know.

It is hard to lose a pet. We lost our cat MitNit last year to a Fisher Cat. He was such a sweet,soft boy.
