Thanko Charger Bracelet Has More Wrist Power Than The Hulk - Battery - Gizmodo

Depending on the geek factor of the reviewing website, these things are either the cutting edge of portable electronic chic or the dorkiest accessories ever produced. They're manufactured by a Japanese company called Thanko that specializes in off-the-wall e-gadgets.

Given that vapers are used to carrying around odd-looking devices anyway, would the battery bracelet be a viable alternative to the "usual" e-cig battery mods? Seems like they hold quite a bit of power, and presumably (depending on what you were wearing) the bracelet could be pushed up the forearm and hidden under the sleeve for a slightly more discreet effect.

Could see where they could come in handy. Personally I'd be more likely to keep it in a pocket rather than wear it though. Most likely though one of those fad products with a short lifespan.

(By the way is anyone else disturbed by the fact that they are trying to market a "cool" new product to teens and the one girl "appears" to be driving the car along until her friend needs a battery and then she lets go of the wheel and starts digging through her purse and putting the bracelet on her friend? ) :D

Hmm, If they remembered to keep the wrist band charged they would probably remember to keep the original device charged and not need the wrist band.

You have to keep up with battery powered devices. If someone wont keep up with the primary device they wont keep up with the secondary device. All batteries discharge on their own.

I can see it now. Four weeks later. Why wont my wrist band charge my whatever?

that is funny

BUT you could attach your pass trough and at Capacity: 1500mAH it will last longer than

normal ecig batteries. and you need an adapter but it IS possible to use

quality? not sure

For extra geek power, add solar cells!
here you go and at 1350mah hehe funny but possible

Is there any way of broadly estimating how much longer than, say, a 510 battery? How would it compare to an average battery mod?

Also, what sort of adapter would be necessary to use one of these battery bracelets to power a PV?

Well broadly the answer would be since the 510 is sitting around 300mah
aprox 5x longer

since it uses the "small usb" you need male "small usb" to female usb
