Is the 510-eGo adaptor on or off?

Not sure what you mean?

The connector on the Ovale is just a regular 510 connector, I dont have any adapter on it.

My Vivi nova is screwed into the 510 connector on the Ovale, and when I try to unscrew it, the whole connector on the Ovale is just turning around inside the Ovale.

Oh I didn't buy a kit. Allready had plenty of batteries and chargers.

The part marked in red is just turning around with the buttom of the vivi nova when I try to unscrew it (so there's no way to get it back off. atleast not without taking the Ovale apart)

Lol! That is the 510- eGo adaptor.. (I think). Looks like the eGo outer threads!

No that is not an ego adapter (there's no outer threads. It's not even an adapter. It doesn't come off)

If I wanted to put a CE4 on it, I would have to put a 510-EGO adapter on top of the part thats marked.

Oh... OK, then. Anyway, it looks different to mine, and I can't make out your pic... a bit blurry. I thought it may be a shorty adaptor, as the 510 threads on mine are completely recessed. There seems to be some kind of raised outer threads in your pic which is wider in diameter than a carto?

The recessed threads are fitted into a hole in the device, so nothing bigger could screw out... unless your device is cracked and broken on the top. even then, what are those outer threads I see in your pic? Is that part of the Vivi Nova? I just can't make it out...

Yeah my camera seem to have been focusing on the background instead of the Ovale

My connector is totally different from yours.

My connector fills out the entire circel shaped piece, and sticks out a bit over the top of the ovale.

(I would take a pic, but I cant since the damn nova wont come off )

Bought it from a danish vendor.

The thing doesn't come off though (I have tried multiple times)

I talked to the vendor, and they told me to send it back to them.

OK, I see now. Wow, that must be a later modification by your local vendor. I bought mine direct from China, and the other people here bought from Discount Vapors USA - and their Ovale V8 is the same as mine.

I got a pink one from Discount Vapors and it's the same as the pic above with the raised connection. I think he said those were the newer ones so not sure if all of his are like that or if it's just the pink and blue.

Really? Thanks. Did you buy a kit or just the device? Can you post a pic of the top please. I was meaning to get a pink one, but don't want problems like Random has...

He only sells the pink and blue individually but I asked him and he traded out a black on in a kit for the pink and sold it to me as a kit. Here's a pic...

All the individuals at Discount Vapers now say that they don't come with the adapter. If you want one, you need to buy it separately. The kits include one.

I have a bunch of adapters -- the Chucks have a well to catch drips so you can't use tanks without one. Whenever I'm a few dollars short of free shipping, I thrown one of them or a drip kit into my cart. The best deal in the States that I know of is at Good Prophets. $2.99 but buy 5 or more and they're only $1.49 each. They're so small, they're easy to lose so it makes sense to have a few backups. (Quite a few items at GP have great quantity discounts.)

I got my Ovel 2 days ago black rubberized and I am happy with it except for the battery compartment and spring issue, but a credit card works good for pushing the spring down. I haven't had any problem getting the battery door open. If it was just a bit longer with a better quality spring and a flat bottom so it wouldn't rock I would give it 5 stars. People have said they think the voltage reading is off. I checked mine with a Fluke meter and the voltage is right on. All in all I like it.

I just ordered the V8's big brother the Gripper from DV. It operates on one 18650 battery and looks very somilar to the V8. I hope it works as good. It is twice as expensive though but does have an ohm meter too. I just bought 6 18650 Panny batteries in a coop so I needed somethin besides my LT to use them with. The excuses I come up with to justify buying another PV are pathetic. lol
