I picked up a pair of AGA-T's(original) and did the Cap sanding to align the air holes properly.
I have successfully done several Wick/coils on my MiniDuds and Decided it was time to go Big.:D

Well, this isn't working out so well.
I have done a double 500 mesh Wick - 1 wrapped then a second additional wrapped to proper diameter.
For wire I did my typical 7/6 1.8ohm coil with the Wire from the Mini's - 34ga NiCh I believe
Flopped then popped.
Second attempt- I did a Twisted 34ga at 6/5 reading 1.5ohms
No Hot spots with a fairly even heat up and nice glow(dry)

Even at 15w on the Vamo Down stepping 8.4v it is slow to get going.
The 500 Mesh seems to almost instantly get soaking wet.
When firing, the juice starts to boil instantly but the wicking is unreal and almost counters any vapor production.

Fill screw is out - should I try installing it?

At 1/2 tank or below the Vapor is great, flavor is very nice and I can drop to 8w with excellent results. Wick /hole on low side.

Any suggestions?
I have Kanthal A1 28ga and 30ga ordered.
I'm not looking for a steam machine and enjoy the Mini's at 1.8ohm around 7w-8w

Wrong forum for a rebuildable, but I'll bite. Maybe a mod will move to the Rebuildable sub-forum for you.

I do both concerning the juice fill screw. Leaving it off does increase wicking, but allows it to leak juice if held horizontal. Not cool when taking it out and about. For those times I use the fill screw in place, and it doesn't seem to leak. Wicking is slower but still adequate.

I'm using pre-rolled 400 mesh wicks from Vapor Kings. Rolling my own wicks was a PITA, and using the pre-rolled was the final piece in the puzzle for me. I'm using several wraps of 30g wire giving me 2.0 ohms.
