The only other mod I own right now is a Nicostick mod. I'll have more soon, though.

I have to say that the Nicostick performs just as well as my Chuck. Possibly even a little better. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that since the negative connects only to a short length of wire instead of a metal body, the resistance is much lower.

Of course, it's made of plastic, so it's not going to last very long in my clumsy hands. Not to mention that I know I'll have to replace the switch a few times, as well. Plus, it really lacks the "cool factor" of a Chuck.

What's your experience? How does the Chuck stack up to other mods?

I own a Bartalby(However you spell it, The Nicostick, passthrough, battery charging mod) a Laserpointer Mod and i've built a few custom NicoSticks(5v, passthrough, dual 3.7v)...And by far the lil' Chuck is my favorite mod...the Design is Beautiful and fits me perfect(because i designed it :)) The batteries (CR123a) last me all day without any noticable drop off, and it looks like i can drop it off a ten story building and just keep vaping And the price was Perfect!

Welp, I started with NJOY NPRO, went to 510's, a J-stick, and some piece of junk passthroughs/510/801 before the Chuck.

Actually, the J-stick isn't bad, works pretty good as long as you stay married to the usb ports. I HEREBY SWEAR NEVER TO BUY A BATTERY UNDER 900 maH AGAIN (unless its the 6 life-p04 3v 750 maH batteries I got for the 6V option on my Chuck) EVER.

I got so hacked off at Janty for putting a resistor in that d*&^ adaptor for J-stick to use the 510, effectively reducing not only the hit but the battery life that as much as I liked their customer service, I can't buy into their marketing/vision plans anymore. They make me (blank) as a (blank) (blank).

They're coming out with a 'maybe' 900 maH protege style (the 'Baby J') but are swerving between usb/no usb/dedicated screw on batteries/etc. and it's making me nuts.

The chuck solved that. I'ma get a little Chuck too, for a smaller 3.7 unit and just cuz they are so fricking fabulous) and probably get one of those chinese DSE-905's that look like a stealth unit but are "glossy stainless steel" which means it will break, just not as fast as plaztec and uses a 14500 battery for the requisite 900 maH I won't go under (see disclaimer above ). Besides, I always wanted to try a 901- and can get an adapter for my Chuck for that (as if I needed an excuse). Even though the stick is ok, I've wasted enough money on those (god, I have 3- coulda had 3 more CHUCKS!).

Fellow CHUCKleheads... I salute you!:pervy:

Chuck, Little Chuck, SB, SD, 3 SD clones I made following Ripley's how to on ECF, Nicostick, 510, 901, Steampunk Sparkplug 801, 2 more lil Chucks on order ...

Each serves thier own purpose, but The Chucks provide, IMO, the best consistant vape. I prefer my SB at 6v, Chucks at 3.7v, everything else at 3.7v as well.

I have two JSV2, one still new and in the box. I like the throat hit and vapor of the JS but dislike the atty being recessed into the body. If the atty leaks, it gums up the insides and it ceases to work until taken apart and cleaned.

I have the Little Chuck because I thought the Chuck looked too big. (I was wrong, should have gotten one of each.)

I have the Xhaler on the way. It looks like a vaping machine! This will be my first mod that runs at 5.0V or higher.

I have a little Chuck, which was my first mod. It blows the 510 batteries out of the water. However 3.7 just wasn't enough for me to quit analogs, so I got a copper to run 6v. I love it. It won't ever replace my chuck, but it will, I believe, supplement it enough that the analog cravings will no longer be an issue.

I have 5 mods now and have to say that none of them can hold a candle to the Chuck! Don't know what you are doing different Jeff, but keep it up!! Don't want to rain on anyones parade so won't say which other ones I own, but I have been really surprised by how the Chuck blows the others away! Don't think I will be getting any others in the future. My Chuck at 3.7 blows away my others at 5 or 6V.

You should look into a regular Chuck, I believe you can run them at 6v as well.

I have a Little Chuck but was thinking about getting a regular Chuck. How much more does it weigh. I know it is about 5 inches long as compared to the little which is 3 1/2 inches long. Do you get more vapor and throat hit with the 6.0 battery. Does the battery last longer. My battery on the little one only last about 4 hours.

Actually what are the benefit of a Chuck over a Little Chuck other than the battery lasting longer because this really is not a problem for me.

I had the same indecisiveness. I ended up deciding on the big chuck, (which after seeing it in person when I met Jeff) is not as big as I thought it would be. The silver bullet, while a very solid piece, is a bit to bulky for me. I did also order the BB, which I will use for taking out with me, and being ninja-like. So you can't go wrong either way. Both will perform well, and both will be backed by their respected manufacturers. It really comes down to a matter of personal taste.

My Chuck weighs 6 ounces. (Yes, I weighed it). I think the Little Chuck weighs around 4 ounces.

The 18650 (3000mAh) in the Chuck will last you a minimum of 2 days on a charge. If you use two 3.0v CR123A batteries, you'll probably have to swap out the batteries at least twice a day. It would be around the same battery life as what you are seeing on your Little Chuck currently.

You will get more vapor and throat hit running a Chuck at 6v, but you will also kill atomizers faster.
