Ozone to clean stardust tip to removing strong flavours

I put a licorice flavour in my stardust clearomizer and couldn't get rid of the flavour. I sat it in a container with the ozonator running through it with a diffuser stone then ran ozone through it when I removed it from the water 10 mins of in the water, 10 mins out and it removed the old flavour.
