You need to go to your local Provari dealer and try out the P3. The boost feature alone is terrific. The menu is terrific. I'm definitely getting one and have actually already sold one of my 2.5 units to help pay for it.

Thank you for posting!!!!! I was hoping this thread would be a one stop for people look for reviews, but it appears my attempt at herding cats has failed...except for you. Meow :)

I'm a beta tester. I don't have time right now to put up a full review (and I've not used all the features yet -- working on that), but I must clear up one matter: there is no purple LED. It's pink. HOT PINK.

Are rhinos considered herding animals? Thank you in advance for your review!

But it's just the button! How often do you look at the button?

As Oz said, the flat top is nice, but I'm okay with using a ring. I have some 19mm tanks I use sometimes and what would they look like with the flat cap?

I'm hoping the outer ring is just for the beta. With the way they have it set up that could change it very easily/cheaply to a taper or different design in the future.

And to get back on topic:

You guys crack me up!!!

And never being to person to be "on-topic", I'm changing it up a touch.

TO: The 22m Provaris don't look terrible with a ring & 19mm tank (see pic), but I prefer the tapered look with those.

Now, if you please, pass the cheese. Just don't CUT... (please).

I took a ProTank with me to try the P3 for just that reason. Not a good look.

I put my review in the Official P3 thread so the ProVape peeps would see it. And in the ProVarinati thread, too.

I went to try the P3 today. It was hard to give it back. If you change your wattage or voltage often you will likely think it’s fiddlely. I rarely change settings so it’s good for me.

I took with me a Kayfun with a 1ohm coil. And a Nautilus and a ProTank2, each with a 1.8 ohm head. Had I not missed that part about an adjustable center pin I would have also taken my Magma. However, the owner of the store says the long 510 is no longer an issue.

I like the way it looks. It reminds me of the simple design of the v2 satin silver. The Made in US and ProVape engraving on the top cap is small and unobtrusive. I like that the extra sections are included to get all 3 sizes.

I figured out the menu after a minute or two of playing with it. The choice of button color is fun, and does not apply to the screen color. To change volts or wattage is a similar button press as before. It’s in -0.1 increments.

The boost feature was nice with the Kayfun. It fires high for a bit to heat the coil, then goes to what you set. With the 2.5 I have noticed the battery shows voltage drop immediately after it’s changed, and sometime lower ohmed coils are a bit wonky. Not so with the P3. I fired the 1ohm coil at 15w with no errors. And I like that the battery remaining shows on the screen.
The Nautilus did well too. And the ProTank2 was fine, too, but looks weird with the new endcap.

The only thing I did not play with is the Profiles. I would probably set 1 for each topper I typically use on it. My coils remain similar each time I build one or change a head. That would take care of some of the fiddling needed to choose one’s voltage or wattage.

Overall, I really like it and will be buying one.

WHAT?!?!?!? Blasphemous...what's. ProVape have against the royal, awesome color of dark purple? :glare:

My thoughts exactly!!! (grin....)

hey stranger! How u do'in?

Thanks for the reviews to those who have enlightened us. I think some of the new features sounds great. I like the flat top design, interchangeable battery options without all the extra end caps to buy, higher watts and lower ohms capabilities and more menu options.

Still not sure of the overall looks and the P3 logo is still not super eye catching. Plus now I'll think of PB&J or cheese since we seem to talk about cheese a lot (thanks Oz ) or a goat eating cheese or chunky Skippy.

With that said, I think this mod would look awesome in a Stealth
