P4Y iPV D2 Question please.

I've had this mod for about 3 weeks now and have been using it almost exclusively since I got it. Today I was using it in power mode with a battery that was about half full. One minute I was puffing happily and the next minute I wasn't getting anything. I thought the battery might have gone flat so I looked at the screen but it was still on half charge. Then a second later I saw the word Lock and immediately after I got this display on the screen (see pic below) which said SX130H V3. 0A. I changed to a fresh battery thinking that might be the cause but nothing - as soon as I put a fresh battery in it returns to that screen. I've tried the unlock procedure but that doesn't work either.

Is there a way of resetting and getting out of this screen?

To lock the ipv D2 you have to press the fire button and up button (the button immediately below the fire button) simultaneously.
To unlock, you do the same thing - press the fire button and up button together as above.

If the above does'nt work, try removing the battery.
Then while pressing the fire button, replace the battery back into the compartment (all the time keeping your finger on the fire button). Release your finger from the fire button and the screen should displace the software version number and then go back to normal.

Thank you but the problem is not unlocking but resetting if that is at all possible. However it seems like the chip is shot - it keeps doing very odd things like reading my 0.9ohm atty as 4.3ohms or something, or giving me an HHHHHHH display, or not turning on at all. I have opened a ticket with fasttech and they are agreeing to replace the mod or refund the money, including the postage I pay for returning the mod. Fasttech are good that way but this means waiting.

I think you are right as to the chip being shot, especially with the HHHHH display. Glad that Fasttech have agreed to replace your mod.
