PA menthol liquid questions

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. I even advance searched it with Google, and I didn't find anything.

Has anyone made a menthol liquid with PA's new liquid menthol? Are you happy with it? How much should I use?

This is not for me. I'm not a big menthol fan. But I'm getting a "starter kit" ready for my mom and little sister, and they're not even interested in trying PVs without menthol flavored liquid. The idea of having to try this myself is unpalatable to say the least, and I wouldn't know what "good" menthol is, anyway.

Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated! I may just buy some liquid for them, but I don't even know which suppliers make a good menthol, and this needs to be cheap because they are. But if you have a favorite, inexpensive menthol liquid, I'll take that, too. I've considered TV, but I know he's backed up right now with orders, and I want to get this in the mail to them next week.

Many from what I have read are still looking for the "perfect" menthol. It seems many sites have there impression of what menthol should taste like, and, the reviews are: to minty, taste too much like spearmint/peppermint etc... Menthol is not meant to taste like that. Menthol is a cool refreshing taste, that lingers on the palate, but does not leave you with the impression of cough drops or candy. This is my interpretation what Menthol should taste like:

4.5 mls PG based tobacco @ 24mg (Northern Vapour) or Virginia, flue cured.
1.5 mls VG
20 drops Flavourart (Fa) arctic menthol same goes for PA

6.6 mls at 18 mgs

ratio 75/25 PG/VG ratio for base, then add flavouring. Tastes a little lighter than Cameo but stronger than Craven Menthols. It has a decent throat hit, cool refreshing with good vapour. I nice cool lingering feeling like a menthol should, not a peppermint/candy taste.

Vaped on a standard 510 and 510 direct passthru.

I'm in the same boat as you... got a menthol loving friend the ecopure menthol... he seems to like it, but there is no tobacco undertone, at least not that i taste, the one time i bravely tried it...

Thank you, Switched! I'll be starting with my plain 75/25 blend and adding the FA tobacco flavoring, but this gives me a good place to start.

(OT: How did I smoke for more than twenty years without ever learning to spell "tobacco?" I kid you not, it takes me three tries to get it right every time.)

alter.ego, best luck to you as well. I think I may have a bottle of Ecopure sent to them, too, just in case either of them has issues with the PG. Even when desperate, I've never taken more than a couple of drags from a menthol cig. Bravely, indeed.
