PA"s tobacco absolute?

Perfumers Apprentice has the pure absolute, and the 50 percent diluted absolute. Wanting to know if i used 1 drop of pure before, the same mix would take 2 drops of diluted absolute? or would the ratio change by some magical way? Thanks

Sure...Thats assuming you have the diluted and not one of the blends.

I have all 3 TA,tobacco blend(alc) and tobacco blend(PG)

I'm using the blends right now and can tell you this stuff is OVERPOWERING!
If you use the pure you might want to start slow maybe 1/2 drop per 100/ml or sumthin(it's that strong)

I use 2.5ml of the pure TA to appox 500ml (16 oz) of the cotton candy (CC) (Ethyl Malto @ 10% in PG) so that is .005ml per 1ml of CC, I then use this TA/EM mix at 10% in my tobacco jucies. It helps to heat the TA in a cup of hot water, makes it very thin and pours easily, and heat the EM in hot water so the TA mixes well.

Dan, the TA/cotton candy mixture you mention above....does it give the tobacco a sweet flavor? I'm really trying to stay away from sweet tasting tobacco, or is this a "base" type
element in mixing?

ethyl maltol type sweetener is used to take the edge off harsh flavors.You can taste it in a lot of tobacco blends all ready its just used in small amounts.

The tobacco blend I have from PA has been pre cut with ethyl maltol and doesn't taste sweet at all...

Some people say the CC or EM adds a certain sweetness to their mix, I just note that it smooths out the harshness as instamix said and it lends a slight caramel undernote the the mix. This is pretty much the base to all my tobacco mixes. You can add peanut butter or hazelnut for a nutty tobacco flavor. It is only limited by your imagination. Hope this helps.
