Looking to possibly strip the black off my SB if anyone has done this I would like to hear how and results! The few chips are starting to bother me!!! Thanks everyone!
Paint chips on my black SB! Has anyone stripped the paint down to the silver before?

Go to this link and about halfway down it says how to remove anodizing with lye (drain cleaner) It will work for powder coating just as well. Remember though, with this process, you'd have to remove your button and wiring and any plastic:

It's not anodized, it's powder coated.
But it can be removed by several different methods.

I did it on a 808 used my grinder that has a wire brush wheel on it, took about 1 min and it looks cool almost like chrome and didn't hurt the battery at all.
