Painting my Wetbox

i hope im posting this in the right place but im about to order a "missy's wetbox" and want to know if any one has tried spray painting them because all that ever seems to be in stock is the gold ones. if i do spray it should i use the high heat stuff for ovens or do u think normal stuff would do the job

I've used the spray made for plastic as a primer, on other items, such as the cheap outdoor landscape lights then using the metal look copper over that. Worked well they looked like real copper and they were left out several winters without any peeling. I wonder though with handling and any heat created though if it would scorch and produce any odors. I don't know, plenty of people doing art work with nail polishes etc. that contain lacquer, haven't heard any problems with those.
