pallete cleanser

Okay heres the short, I made a flavor that I added the wrong ingredient to. IT WENT HORRIBLY HORRIBLY wrong (worst taste EVER). Now I am going to clean that atty while using another atty that was not exsposed to the bad ingredient. I had my favorite flavor Atomic Fireball in the atty prior to trying my experimented flavor and now I cannot stop tasting this taste whenever I vape! This is an issue that I don't know what to do about because I cannot taste atomic fireball anymore, just burnthair-concoction

Is there a way to cleanse MY pallete or do something for my e-cig? I bought a lot of juice because it was so good that I do not want to go to waste. Plz help

Mr. Tasty Vapor says to soak your atty in baccardi 151 for a couple hours. That should get rid of the bad taste. Works for me.

im concerned with wierd methods of cleaning attys. I heard some liquids kill them :\

If worried about alcohol, buy some Propylene Glycol (PG) and soak the atomizer in that. It's the same stuff used in e-liquid.

After the soak, rinse in water and blow the atomizer out from the open (non-threaded end) into a paper towel or napkin. Prime with your liquid of choice.

You might need to repeat the clean with fresh PG.

That should get rid of any juice flavor. If it's a burnt flavor from running the atomizer dry you'll need to get more aggressive in cleaning, or buy another atomizer.

Hey McVapor -

When I first started vapping, I found eating apples helped cleanse my taste buds. Seemed there were some other members here that ate apples as well while vapping.

Others have also said drinking lots of water helps as well.

As for your atty - I usually just blow out the atty, stand upright and let drain over night. I've used Sattec's Crest Pro cleaning method 1 time when I did the same as you. Made some God awful juice that lingered in my atty.8-o It was so bad I smoked a cig to try to get the taste out of my mouth. Anywho - used Sattec's method and the atty was as good as new!!! Yay!!
