Panic - my charger just broke!

Hi all,

I use Kgo and have 3 working batteries, one that just ran out of power and 2 charged. Went to take the most recently charged off the charger and the charger broke!

Any suggestions on where to order new charger cords to get them as quickly as possible so I don't slip back to analogs? (I live in NY - that may affect shipping times)

Also, for future info, since they are USB cords, can you use them while plugged into the computer or do you need a special passthrough to do that? Just thinking it might cut down on screwing onto and off of the charger and reduce wear and tear...

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would order a new charger right NOW. It could get to you before your two batteries are empty. Even if you do find another battery elsewhere, it won't hurt to have an extra charger.

Any eGo charger will work on the KGO battery. Most vapes shops sell eGo stuff. So, if you have a local brick and mortar store close by, that's your best bet.

No, you cannot use the KGO as a passthrough. The charger screws into the 510 adapter, so that would be impossible.

A passthrough as a backup is never a terrible idea.

Vape NY is a kiosk and is closed on Sundays... also they're the only "brick and mortar" that I have found in the area (frustrating because this is NYC...)

Guess I'll just go for it and place an order right now and keep fingers crossed...

Man that sucks. I bought an extra charger when I ordered my kgo set so I could have one at work and one at home. I can imagine the panic I'd be in if I only had one and it died on me. Sorry.

Does your charger have the usb plugin? if So, get your cell phone charger, most likely it will work if it takes the usb plugin, or you can charge it on the usb2 from computer, not usb1 port.

So just to update, it was the part that you screw in that broke, the cord was fine. I ended up ordering 2 from 2 different places. One priority deliery and the other regular, and of course they arrived on the same day. Lesson learned and I'm going to make sure I always have 2! I'll check out that LI shop!
