That's an easy fix. Set it up using your email . It works. I did it for my sister recently.

i tried that but thing is if anyone uses imessage with me since my telephone was already put in there it comes to my new phone as a text so if you send me a imessage to my email thats on there it would work i think

You have to use your email for it to work if your phone is not connected to a phone carrier. I don't know your email to test it for you but I think you have mine from our last iMessages so maybe try that and then I'll have your email.

I'm sorry for your loss Windy. My mom passed 12 days before Christmas a few years ago and my dad passed 2 days before Valentines Day. I understand how hard it is when the holidays come around. You and your family are in my prayers.

Should be able to change it. We have one account here but hubby uses his email for iMessage and I use mine. I know in settings under iMessage there's a place where you can choose to use email instead. Where it says send and receive. You can add email there and it should work.

Thank you Red. Aunt Connie's service was today and it was one of the sweetest services I have ever been to. Her oldest granddaughter got up and spoke and if there were any dry eyes they sure weren't after she was done. She did a beautiful job it was so touching. Instead of a funeral it was more a celebration of life and I know she would have loved it <3.
