we go today to visit in-laws from both sides of hubby's family and on Saturday I cook hubby a thanksgiving dinner because he loves the left overs. I have 3 turkeys in my deep freezer right now.
Nice. I'm actually not much of a turkey and dressing fan. I'd much rather do some fajitas or something like that, but family vote and tradition usually win and we do the usual.
My monster in law cooks a full traditional thanksgiving 3 course meal now tonight when we go to his aunts she will probably serve stuffed chicken or something else shes not much for the traditional meal.
Lol...monster in law...I've had MORE than my share of those.
I want to try some traditional stuffing from the northeast. I've heard of folks making stuffing with lobster, crab, etc in it. That just sounds yummy! When I lived in Wisconsin, I loved the stuffing they made up there...it's more bread than what is used down here. Down here they use cornbread. I'm not a fan of cornbread at all.
Thanksgiving is way differant in Florida to then it is up here examples are I remember potato and macaroni salad in Florida dont get that up here up here we have wedding soup with homemade croutons
