I like both of your poems,
I just posted my last one for today, I promise.
Loved yours as well, and put in my last for the day
I've had a mix of bad... and then good... then some more bad... then, just now, some more good...
First... woke again at 6am with a banger of a headache... I finally got rid of it by about 9:30a without any meds to do it...
Went back to sleep to make up for two days of too early to rise...
About an hour later, I wake up to the phone ringing and get up... it's some unusual area code so I go back to bed muttering about spam phone calls and all of that... Now, I'd hoped that I'd actually get to mowing about this time since it wasn't too hot yet... but the call for more sleep won out.
About 1:30pm... I finally drag my tired lazy bum out of bed sort of dreading that I still need to go out an mow the yard. I check my phone log and see there is a voicemail waiting from that number I mentioned before. As it turned out, it wasn't a spammer call after all.. it was from that vendor that had sent me 3 beta e-liquids to try out and had emailed him back on... So I quickly get a cup of coffee down so I'd only sound like a hick instead of a tired hick... Called him back and had a great chat about what he had going on and was planning etc... a good 80 minutes worth actually.
Now it's close to 3pm, still haven't done anything worthwhile, so I shave real quick ( it's harder to do it when your sweaty ) and go outside to mow... It's now 99° instead of the below 90° that it would have been had I got to it early... I decided against weedeating so it only took about 30 minutes... Dried off the sweat... took a shower and dried off again
Finally got online and started catchin' up with all of the forums and threads I like to read up on...
Now, finally it's dinner time.... Reheated up some of the spaghetti sauce, made some garlic toast and a salad and cooked more spaghetti up... Other than having put in a bit too much Italian spices... the sauce is great, both of them ( I did one just spicy and one spicy and sweet )
And that's been that... not completely a worthless day... but a lot of back and forth

Normally in August around here.. the typical temp is around a 100°... this year we've had a few but a lot of it's only been in the 91-95° range and some were even just in the 80's. Tigg's mentioned something similar down where he is... and they are always worse off than we are temp wise
