Dang man...sorry to hear that....definitely sounds like a real PITA (and I don't mean the Middleastern bread)!!! I was w/o AC in the house for a while this summer and Mama and both boys grew horns!!!

I can imagine. I don't have ac but on some of the toasty days around here I have to check the mirror to see if I am growing horns too.

Nobody has to know when the hole was cut I'd just call one and tell them to bring over a wet saw to cut a small hole in a foundation about the size of a window,those furnace guys were probably talking about a mechanical permit for the furnace inspection.Oh they want the hole location marked out most of the time
