Vapemail is in da' house.... Got my curlers in...
My first shot at the coiler didn't work well... they've got a big gap ( 4mm ) between the handle and the part you spin... I may grind the pins shorter to address that but I'll play with it for a little before I do. The second coil came out perfect so it may just be a matter of procedure. Time will tell...
That second one... was so easy to wind. You could easily sit there and just spin up a batch of coils without getting sore fingers trying to grip the wire.
My 100w wooden box mod and thrum scissors made it through Chicago ... so they should be here next week sometime. I've been wanting to order this type of scissors for a long time and every time I placed an order in the past... I'd forget to add them. If they work as well as I'm hoping... I'll order up several more.

Those scissors work wonderfully!!! I've got a pair that I've head for years...no idea where I got them but when I ran across them again, I knew what they'd be tasked for!!
I'll go over each of the items a bit... again...
The coil jigs I got are from eBay ... It is a set of 3 giving you 6 coil sizes. I think the pin that is on the spinning side may be a bit long at 4mm... the original coiler like Aggie got uses a flat headed hex screw, so perhaps a 1-1.5mm length ( maybe she can measure it or guess at it for us )

The LUXYOUN 100W Variable Wattage VW Box Mod is a single 18650 battery mod and available in 4 wattage sizes 30w, 50w, 100w and 150w. I think pushing 100w is really too much for a single battery mod ( not to mention the 150w ) but there is only about a $12 difference in price from the 30w up to the 150w. I find most box mod sizes to be a bit large and I expect this will be also... so I'm thinking of using the electronics and switches ( and possibly the 510 ) out of this to build a custom one later... maybe if I like how this one works.

... wow... I didn't expect it to be that deep of a head on that. I guess the 4mm posts of mine isn't that far off of the original design.

It was thanks to jmur mentioning he found the clone ones on eBay... I probably wouldn't have looked there if it hadn't been for him.
