We're getting a pretty good soaker here also, not a hard rain, so slow and consistant.. almost a 1/4" since a little before 6am.

NE of San Antonio has had a ton of rain though and severe storms... they've had estimated rainfall rates of 3-5" per hour with some estimated totals of close to 13-14" ... also there has been strong rotation in the area since early this morning, many of which I suspect were tornado's considering how strong it was on the radar I was looking at. I'm actually surprised that the NWS hasn't issued any tornado warnings or watches yet based on what I was seeing

I saw where an area in central Texas got a tornado warning a little before I got off work today. Sounds like places south of me are really getting pounded.

The rain around here picked up a bit since my last post... nearly another inch has fallen. It'll certainly help a lot and I'm really glad we aren't getting the torrential rains and flooding that S. Texas has been seeing. They certainly needed the rain but in the amounts they are getting it, it's going to do a lot of damage.
