Hello:

I generally like the ProTank series, but I am not a fan of how breathy they are. To cure this, I spent $15 on a Tatroe mod base. While this did cut down on the breathy hit a bit, it was an expensive solution. Thinking about it, I went into the garage and got some fingertip rope caulk which is available at any hardware store for a few bucks. I then applied a strip to each air vent on the Kanger base, pushed it in, removed most of it with my fingernails and then took a toothpick rubbing horizontal to the surface to finish it off. The caulk covers the air vents and cuts down greatly on the breathy hit. What's more os that the caulk does not stick on the mod. I hope this works for others as a cheap solution to a breathy hit. Any other ideas out there?

Cheers,
James Welborn
