Just got my eGo battery/pass-through in the mail today…Can I use the wall plug piece that came with the battery charger to plug my pass-through into?….Thanks…

Had to laugh today….I always have any stuff I order delivered by UPS…All my normal mail I have a PO box for…and I’ve had the same PO box for years….Before I started vaping…I’d rarely pick up mail more than a couple of times a month…Most of the time when I did get around to picking it up… the box would be so packed I could barely get my mail out of it…Now…because I’m waiting for all sorts of vaping related crap…I empty the sucker every day…I’m sure its got the mailman is scratching his head as to the cause of my change of habit… :?:

...unless he delivers a lot of e-cig stuff, then he probably knows exactly whats going on. LOL.

I think that as long as your wall plug thing has that little usb hole in it then you are good to go.

I have a pass thru for may DSE-801 which I love! It wouldn't work with the battery charger I have
as it most likely doesn't have the amperage to supply the atty. (like the atty reference? pretty good
for a newbie, but I'm learning)
I also found I put enough strain on my PC's power supply (I'm a geek, admitting it is the first step...)
that it wasn't a good option for me.
I did get a small 4 port USB hub 5v/2.1A (computer store) to plug in the wall which supplies more than
enough power, AND a longer cord so my range of motion isn't as limited.

Many posters here have advised that you need a 2amp wall adapter for passthroughs to work correctly. The .5amp wall adapter/recharger I have (that came with a Volcano starter kit) and my computer's USB ports work sometimes, and sometimes, they don't work. Last night, both were working great, and I was getting great throat hits. Sat in bed for about three hours just vaping constantly. Right now, I can't get the PT that's plugged into the computer to work consistently or very well, and the one plugged into the Volcano wall adapter isn't working very well today, either.

If your PT quits working at times, it means it's not getting enough power. Also, USB extension cords and regular AC extension cords will work fine, as long as your wall adapter has enough power. Madvapes sells a 2amp wall adapter for about $11. I've ordered two of them, so I'll know how well they work in a day or two.
