What’s the difference between an Inline and Non-Charging USB Pass Thru?

Which type is V4L’s VK Manual Passthru – Non-Charging or Inline?

An inline has a battery case attached to the cord. You can unplug the passthru and walk around with it. (No sure why you would want to) Anyway the V4L is not like that. You need to stay put or replug elsewhere (like the car, computer or wall adapter..even a recharable battery pack.)

They do have the advantage of not hitting the USB as hard as far as current goes, since the battery is effectively buffering the spike in demand.
